Pet Treater is a monthly subscription that provides high-quality treats and toys for your beloved canine. There are three different boxes available based on weight. Small which is 0-20 pounds, Medium which is 21-50, and Large is 51 + pounds.
That made me laugh!
I am sensing an Elvis theme!
Elvis shows his love for his namesake in the letter.
The September theme is Ain’t Nothin But A Hound Dog! The October Theme will be Bark’tober Fest!
Here are all the items in the September 2016 Pet Treater Box. My sister shot everything outside. I snapped all the indoor pictures.
The Furimals Warming & Cooling Pet Mat – Large ($17.99) comes with a patented microcore reusable pack that can provide warmth or coolness. Place the pack in the microwave or the freezer to give comfort to your pet. I will bring it to the farm to be used on those cold winter days.
The dogs went crazy over the Exclusively Pet S’mores Dog Cookies (8 oz, $4.85). The treats and packages are made in the USA and are safe for human consumption if someone mistook them for a human cookie. I was very happy to see them in the box. I pick up a package whenever I am near HomeGoods because they love them.
I’m excited to try the Puppycake Mix. I’ve been wanting to try the PuppyCake Mix and been hoping it would show up in a dog subscription box! It was super easy to make the PuppyCake CheeseCake Mix for Dogs – Peanut Butter Flavor (11 oz, $7.99). All I needed was water to make the crust and cake.
The top package is the crust, and the bottom package is the filling. I enjoyed making it for the dogs. Daisy, Bella, and Odie loved their cookies, shown on the right, and gave them four paws up.
The cheesecake is good for 7 days in the fridge or up to 6 weeks in the freezer. I am going to purchase a few mixes for the holidays for the dogs’ enjoyment.
Don’t get all shook up over the blue guitar cookie! Daisy heartily approved of the ingredients in the Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creation Carob Peanut Butter Crunch Cookie (appx $1.35). She left no crumbs behind.
I had no idea that Elvis Presley Pet Collection existed which is great if you are nothing but a hound dog. Will the dogs step on or eat the Blue Suede Shoe ($14.00)? Either way, it will not last long in my house because it is a soft dog toy with a squeaker.
I suddenly have the urge to play Hungry, Hungry Hippos. The Multpet Latex 8″ Hippo Toy ($5.14). It’s the right size toy for my collies, Daisy the English Shepherd and Odie half Border Collie/Half Labrador Retriever. I don’t know if either one will play with the toy because they do not like the feel of latex in their mouths.
The Pet Treater for your Human item is Elvis themed. The Elvis Lives All Shook Up Candle ($9.99) which has a floral scent. Elvis fans will be thrilled that the candle container is reusable.
Bella is enjoying her cookies. All three dogs are cookie monsters!
Daisy is eating her cookie and checking for crumbs before taking another bite. She is a dainty eater if there is such a thing when it comes to dogs and food.
Daisy gamely picked up the hippo toy and quickly dropped it. She does not like latex toys in her mouth.
Odie is unsure as he sniffs the hippo toy.
I can tell he doesn’t like it from the way he is carrying the toy. The hippo toy will have a long life in this household.
The doggies look adorable! Odie is going to destroy the toy soon. He has been carrying it around today.
Bella gobbled her pie so quickly that the only picture I have of her is licking up the crumbs! Daisy licked hers for awhile and then started to eat in bites. Odie ate his pie later in the day! The pie lasted for two days with the three dogs.
Pet Treater did a great job with its Elvis theme. I am glad that they included non-Elvis items because I am not an Elvis fan. My favorite items are the cookies and cheesecake mix. The dogs enjoyed their treats and toys except for the latex hippo. I did find it strange that the candle did not have a lid although it appears that is how it is sold on the Elvis Website. The pet mat is useful. What I like best about Pet Treater is the variety of items in the box. The value is amazing for a pet box and is easily double the cost of the box. It’s a wonderful box for dog owners that are looking for more than treats and toys in a subscription box.
