This month’s artist is Yener Torun, and we received a card with information about the artwork and a short interview with the artist.

The back of the card points to the full interview with the artist. I always find it interesting to learn about an artist process to get to his creation.

This month, we received three prints. As for every other month, the back of the print contains all the information.

The Reservoir. That little cloud is so cute! I love the asymmetry in the buildings, but it still feels calm.

Giant Chalks. I totally see it! Now, go and take a look at those giant silos and tell me you really don’t want to paint them that way. Go on!

Gone Daddy Gone. Even if it’s very colorful, I find this picture soothing.

I really enjoy this subscription as it makes me discover new artists that I would never have heard of otherwise. Yener Torum’s prints are my favorite that I received from this subscription so far. It’s colorful, playful, fun, but calming. I love that behind each print, they’ve included ways to display the prints. I especially like the idea of suspending them from a wire, like clothes. With all the blue skies, I would put them up on an exterior wall, like windows to a pretty and nice city.

Last month, Papirmass mentioned changes would come starting this month. I don’t know if they decided to delay the changes, or if I fail to see it in this month’s box.
