OnyxBox from We Are Onyx delivers 5 deluxe-size or full size hair, skin, make up and lifestyle products curated for Women of Color from high-end brands from around the world for only $25 a month. And look at the fun color of the box, who doesn’t want colorful mail?

The card included tells a little about the theme of the box as well as how to connect via social media. This months box features Spread the Love.

True By Made Beautiful leave-in conditioner smells like tropical islands full of fruit. The product is a little slimy feeling but coated my hair without weighing it down. I enjoyed that there are hair tips on the bottle to help create your perfect look and that the product is not tested on animals.

Creme of Nature with Argan oil 3oz sells for $9.99. This hair oil is devine, it smells amazing, if it were food I’d eat it in a heartbeat. I was super impressed that for an oil it’s rather dry and didn’t make my hair look greasy but healthy and alive.

Naked Beaute Moroccan Facial fruit and clay mask is a bit messy but left my face soft and refreshed. Fortunately it dries fast and washed off clean. This wouldn’t be my go to mud mask but it was a very nice product.

Purple Tale, 5 steps to lovely skin single pack sells for $7.99. It’s a five step facial you can take anywhere and it was an amazing treat. The foam cleanser is thick like a lotion and lathers up rich and full. Step two the ampoule was light and sheer. The bio cellulous sheet was very slimy and I had a very hard timekeeping it on my face for 5 minutes. The facial cream was scentless and light as was the neck cream. I absolutely loved that each step was clearly marked.

Hikari shimmer bronzer retails for $17.  

I know nothing about applying bronzer but this one made me look at youtube videos because the quality of product is beyond what I normally see. Also each Hikari product has blown my mind with how well it works.

We are Onyx Box keeps bringing amazing products to my door month after month without any repeats. I love trying new products without paying full size prices, especially for items that don’t end up being my favorite. My favorite item this month was the 5 steps to lovely skin, even though the third step made me cringe. I would absolutely advise grabbing this for a weekend trip to help your skin glow. The hair products I’ve been able to try normally leave my hair in better, much more manageable condition. This subscription is always changing and never disappoints with their quality. I’m looking forward to next months box already.
