We Are Onyx ONYXBOX October 2016 Subscription Box Review

OnyxBox from We Are Onyx delivers 5 deluxe-size or full-size hair, skin, makeup and lifestyle products curated for Women of Color from high-end brands from around the world for only $25 a month. And look at the fun color of the box, who doesn’t want colorful mail?

The card included tells a little about the theme of the box as well as how to connect via social media. This month’s box features Good Girl, Chic City.

Lotta Body Cleanse Me Co-Wash is perfect for helping to remove product residue from hair. I find cleanses strange because they don’t lather but will say my hair felt healthier after using this product. Another thing I like about this product is that it smells so good.

Lotta Body Control Me Edge Gel is already in my hair product line up, but this mini has made my day. I love that I can take it on the go and use it for touch up to tame those pesky fly away hairs.

Naked Beaute Chamomile and Cucumber Facial Cleanser ($6.75). I love the soothing scent of chamomile and this cleanser lathers into a rich foam bursting with aroma. My face was left with a squeaky clean, tingling feeling without the tightness.

Sonoran Skincare Avocado and Hazelnut Hydrating Hair and Skin Conditioner ($14.99) was kind of a strange product for me because you can use it from hair to toe. I have not gotten a chance to use it as a deep conditioner for my hair but love it as a lotion. It has a soft nutty smell and didn’t leave my skin feeling greasy. I’m looking forward to seeing what it will do for my hair.

Be A Bombshell Lip Gloss In Rendezvous ($6) & Be A Bombshell Lip Gloss In Queen B ($6). These lip glosses are awesome! Easy to apply and color that lasts for the entire day, what a dream product.

She Scent It Leave In Conditioner ($13.99 full-size) is a moisturizing and hydrating cream conditioner. What I like about this product is that it is light and a little goes a very long way. With this leave in conditioner, I didn’t need to add any other product to have beautiful curls all day long, it’s a lazy girl’s dream come true.

This month’s We are Onyxbox was absolutely on point. I loved that each product worked with my hair and skin type. I even loved the colors of lip gloss. Every product is going to be used and maybe even replaced. I’m beyond excited for next months box but in the meantime, I’ll be pampering myself.
