October 2016 Glossybox Subscription Box Review + Coupons

Glossybox is one of the original beauty subscriptions. You’ll get 5 luxury samples per month for $21. They have great packaging every month with the outer box (above) around the inner box (below).  This month we are back to the normal pink inner box.

First look inside the inner box and you will see that the items are all wrapped up with more pink tissue paper and your nice info booklet.

I really like the Glossybox info booklets each month. They give info on the items and even some tips along the way.

Unani Il-Lluminate Milk Cleanser ($18.00 6.7oz) – A very gentle cleanser that kicks it up a notch with nutritious natural oils that will purify and protect your skin. I am the first to admit I’m horrible at washing my face every night. It is one of those things I know I should do and the tidbit even reminds me that your skin is full of bacteria, pollutants, and dead skin cells so I really need to be better at it.

Emite Make-Up Cheek & Lip tint ($19.00)  – This is actually pretty bright so I’m not sure I’ll use it much on my cheeks but I do like it on my lips. I actually am more of a powder blush person and haven’t gotten all into the tints for cheeks so while I play around with it I’m more likely to keep this as a gloss and for that, I do like it.

Masque Bar by Look Beauty Face Sheet Mask in Lissant ($3.33) – This version of the mask is used to minimize the look of pores for a more even complexion. It looks like a variety of masks were sent out but I’m glad about this one. I actually have a varied face so evening ones are great for me.

Decleor Aromessence Neroli Hydrating Oil Serum ($32.32) – I was just watching one of the morning shows that was saying you really need to oil up. However, this really smells strong. I’m not sure I could put this on and then smell it all day which based on the price of it is probably a good thing. It is made with concentrated hazelnut botanical oil and enriched with essential oils of neroli, sandalwood, and petit grain. I’m not sure which of those it is, but one of them is really strong.

Chuda Healing Hydrating Cream ($15.00) – Oh now I could be in trouble with this item. It went on great and didn’t feel greasy or thick on. My skin felt great after wearing it all day and I gave it a hard test with being outside on a field trip in mid 80°s weather, so it had to stay good. It didn’t sweat off and get all runny which is a great thing in a moisturizer. I will for sure use up my sample size. However, I’m not sure I can bite the bullet and get a full size since it is so pricey but I will surely enjoy what came in the box.

I’m really liking this month’s GLOSSYBOX and it’s a great primer for getting into the drying fall months. As I said above, it has been crazy hot here this week but I know the cooler dryer weather is coming and now I feel like I’m ready to tackle it and try out some new items.
