I received 2 soft cover books in the fantasy genre. The books were cushioned with paper to keep the covers from damage.
Time to curl up on the couch with a warm, fuzzy blanket and a hot cup of Lady Grey tea. I have started on one and so far I am intrigued. I have received some very good books since I started getting this box.

A Young Man Without Magic by Lawrence Watt-Evans ($15.99 Amazon) is a story about a young man in a world ruled by magic and sorcerers. This young man has no magic to speak of, even though he was born to two sorcerers. He comes from being away for school to find his home has changed, a local lord has been corrupted, and his friends and family is under this lord’s tyrannical rule. He fights for justice even though he has no magic. I am looking forward to seeing if he becomes a hero or a traitor.

Beyond Redemption by Michael R. Fletcher ($15.99 Amazon) is about a dark and violent world. There is a cult that wishes to use the ability to twist reality to make a young boy ascend into a god that they can control. I have not started this book but I hope to soon. Have you read it yet? These 2 books are a great start for my fall reading binge. I have got my blankets and my teas ready. Okay fall here I come!
