Everything arrives individually wrapped in butcher paper and sealed with a MOUTH sticker.  It’s like celebrating a snack holiday each month.

The box had an information sheet which gave an overview of each popcorn and location of the producers.

Nori Popcorn by Pop Art in Salt Lake City, Utah ($4.50): Nori is a unique flavor that falls somewhere between earthiness and the brininess of the sea. It’s flavor will at first stun you, but once you fully comprehend that you are eating seaweed, then it will all make sense and you will devour this delicious treat. 

I really liked this popcorn. It was light and had larger kernels. The roasted nori acts like flavored salt. When combined with the sesame, it gives the popcorn a lot of umami flavor. I was eating this by the handful and had to have the bag taken away. You must be a nori fan for this popcorn because it is well-coated.

Pistachio Caramel Corn by CC Made in San Anselmo, California ($5.00):  You probably have happy recollections of many consumed boxes of Cracker Jack.  But now, if you’re like us, you want that fix from something more grown-up and less cloyingly sweet.  CC Made’s Pistachio Caramel Corn is buttery, nutty, rich, crunchy, sweet (but not sickeningly so) and ADDICTIVE.  Despite everything you’ve been raised to believe up until now, DON’T SHARE.

I have to agree with the description above. This is SO ADDICTIVE! First of all, I prefer pistachios to peanuts any day. They have a very distinctive, somewhat spicy flavor that balances the sweetness of the caramel. I almost didn’t get more than a handful of this. My dad has been sneaking it as part of his late-night snacking. LOL.

Truffle Salt Popcorn by Live Love Pop in Dallas, Texas ($9.99):  This stuff is dangerously good: umami-packed truffle, subtle salt and crunchy kettle-cooked popcorn.  Our studies show that without exception, you will polish off the whole bag rather quickly.

The price on Amazon is higher than what I found on the Live Love Pop site back when I reviewed their Lime Fresco flavor. Not sure what happened, but I didn’t see that you could order directly from the maker. Maybe it was user error on my part. Back to the popcorn. The truffle flavor wasn’t overpowering but felt like a hint. The popcorn was OK – not my favorite in the bunch.
