Stay Regular Monthly Mystery Box September 2016 Subscription Box Review

The Stay Regular Monthly Mystery Box is a monthly subscription box offered by That Daily Deal. That Daily Deal says that “The boxes will vary GREATLY month to month. Although we generally are relevant to the season etc, they are not “curated” to a theme like “let’s garden!” or “Let’s get physical!”. There are a lot of boxes out there that focus on that aspect, but ours is blowing your mind with variety and value :)”  The box is huge! This company is a company that is not afraid of shipping costs.  The box in the above picture is $24.99. Shipping is free!!!

I came home to find a surprise waiting for me at the door….. This month’s Mystery box!!! There were several different items in this box.

Let’s start with the largest.

I received a new pillow for the house.

The pillow is standard size. There is no name on the packaging. It maintains it shape and does not go flat…we all know we hate flat pillows! There is a 5 year warranty and is hypoallergenic. This pillow came in handy as my oldest son was just complaining of needing a new pillow for his bed.

My next item is  a Cool Gear  Can Tumbler ($8). A  nice new drink holder to add to my collection. It is shaped like a can and is spill proof. Great for kids, huh?! It is dishwasher safe which is always good. I love the design i received. My favorite color is green.

Even the top is in a can style with a tab that slides open. Nice!! I am going be the envy at work.

What can be our next item??

It is a can of Neutrogena Sunscreen Spray ($10.44). This is a staple item in Florida! We have sun pretty much year around. I like this spray because of it being water resistant and doesn’t leave a greasy feel when you put it on. Which brand do you prefer?

Next is  a set of 3 food storage containers from Starplast ($2.49). You can NEVER have too many food storage containers! I always seem to “lose” some over time. I like the fact that they are divided. It makes it easier to pack my lunches for work or save a “plate” of dinner in  the refrigerator for someone working late.

Unfortunately one of the lids was broken on the end. Insert sad face here! At least I still have 2 that will be just fine.  I have never heard of  the maker of these containers so I had to go hunting for info. I know these were made in India but not much else. There is not much info on their website.

I received 2 new cutting boards also. They have a cute pattern on them. They are on the small side, great for vegetables or fruit. They are by Tchibo ($1), another company I have not heard of. i did learn it is a German company. I gave this a try at dinner with cutting a tomato. I found the slickness of the board a little difficult to deal with when chopping a juicy piece of food.  It just feels like the tomato was trying to slide away.

My next item can be a bit deceiving. Can you guess what it is??

Do you need a hint?

It’s a sports bag with an attached cooler bag. Great item for your little athlete or for going to the gym. There is no name on the bag or zippers. Its not very large and the cooler are is detachable for easy cleaning.

Please Note: I searched for these items online but was not able to find them or their prices. Even though I came across this issue I find the value of the items in the box to outweigh the cost of the subscription – This subscription is $24.99 a month.
