Kids Prize Pack is a fun kids’ subscription box that centers its theme around books, toys, and activities each month. There are four age categories: Boys ages 4-8, Girls ages 4-8, Boys ages 9-12, Girls ages 9-12. The boxes range from early readers to chapter books along with age appropriate toys and collectibles.
First look into my October box and I was quick to see the theme. My two boys are 5 and 8 and we get the Boys 4-8 box. We are also huge Funko POP fans and are actively growing our collection so seeing one in the box is always a bonus.
Everything in our October box.
Every month there is a card with a two-sided comic and a magnet with this month’s theme on it. The October theme is Dinosaurs & Diaries. As is becoming a theme with this box, my youngest ran off with the magnet and put it on the fridge and my oldest grabbed the comic.
Looniverse ($4.99) – This book is part of Scholastic’s early chapter books line called Branches, which is aimed at newly independent readers. While my older son is starting to get out of these books my younger son is just going into them so they are great reads all around. This one looks fun and I can’t wait to go through it with them.
In this third adventure, Ed and his friends visit a robotic, life-like exhibit called Dinosaur Discovery. He has fun on the trip, but then ends up with a real-life dinosaur following him home. . . . Ed’s strange magical coin has done it again! Disaster follows, and Ed simply MUST find a way to put this dinosaur back where it belongs. There are fun black-and-white illustrations on every page!
Funko POP The Good Dinosaurs SPOT ($7.14) – So exciting getting another Funko POP and for it to be from a Disney movie. Be still my heart, I’m so happy. I think The Good Dinosaur is such a cute movie and my boys are loving this little Spot.
Check out all the cute back detail! I love his hair and his little loin cloth with the different leaves and things. I always love the details that Funko puts into the POP figures and this one is no exception.
Jurassic World Tyrannosaurus Rex Chompers Figure ($5.00)
Jurassic World Spinosaurus Chomp n’Stomp ($6.68)
These are two fun dinosaur action figures. My youngest will spend hours playing with action figures and these are going right into his stash.
Jurassic World Land & Air Matchbox Set($8.89) – Again, I’m going to say, can you really have too many matchboxes? In my house, the answer is NO and we will always take more. I love that this set gives us both a plane and a jeep.
I LOVE this month’s Kids Prize Pack. They are great and working the theme throughout all of the items in the box. They had no way of knowing, but my oldest and I just watched Jurassic World a couple weeks ago so he was stoked to get all the new dinosaur goodies. He was telling his brother all about how things happened in the movie. Now, I really think we need to watch the first couple movies over again.
