Graze is a weekly snack subscription box that delivers 8 snacks to your home in one little box. Snack possibilities include nuts, dried fruits, chips, flapjacks, dippers, soups and more. There are over 100 different concoctions to choose from! Each portion-controlled serving is the perfect pick-me-up for an afternoon at work or at play.

Graze employs an in-house team of experts to develop their recipes. They regularly source their ingredients from small suppliers dedicated to producing the best, tastiest products around. Graze chefs even tried 29 different varieties of raisins before finding the perfect one for one of their recipes!

While you have the opportunity to specify dietary preferences during the set up process, Graze is not safe for those who suffer from food allergies; all of their products are produced in the same facility. Still, if you’re going gluten-free but don’t have celiac disease, for instance, and you feel comfortable potentially exposing yourself to trace amounts of gluten, this subscription would be ideal for you!

Graze makes it very easy to isolate those snacks that are unsuitable for vegetarians, vegans, those avoiding gluten, dairy, and soy. They also make it easy to avoid snacks containing nuts, bananas, chocolate, cranberries, pineapple and raisins. With one click you can throw out both snacks that require a microwave and those that are spicy.

Once you specify generally the categories of snacks you’d like to avoid, you can go to the “Our Food” tab to preview a list of available snacks. Here you can place each snack into one of four categories: trash, try, like and love. Once you do that, Graze’s Darwin algorithm generates a box to send out that is tailor made for you! Or, if you’d prefer, you can specify boxes according to nutritional content, including carb counting, calorie counting, sugar counting and high protein boxes.

Although the setup process is time-consuming, it was a lot of fun. It left me excited to see what Graze would send.

This month, Graze sent me the following snacks: Protein Cashew Kick, Garden of England, Twist of Black Pepper Popping Corn, Booster Seeds, Strawberries and Cream Protein Granola Topper, Roasted Chili Honey Peanuts and Almonds, Caramel Apple and Original Fruity Flapjack.

My son and I couldn’t wait to try these!

I loved these Booster Seeds! This combination of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and flax seeds tastes very plain – which, I find, is a welcome counterpoint to many of the more seasoned snacks. I added this to a salad, and it was delicious. Love.

The Roasted Chili Honey Peanuts and Almonds were sweet, spicy and crunchy and were a huge hit for both me and my son! He ate them up until bedtime. Love.

The Protein Cashew Kick is a lovely combination of chili lime cashews, spicy chickpeas and garlic sesame sticks. I loved this as is. My son ate the cashews and sesame sticks but left the extra chickpeas for me. Lucky me! Love.

The Twist of Black Pepper Popping Corn is always a hit at my home. I think the black pepper adds just the right amount of seasoning for a truly enjoyable snack. Love.

I love the Garden of England snack! It’s one of my all-time favorites. The apples are nice and moist, and I love the plump dried strawberries. The blackcurrants add a nice variety. Love.

The original fruity flapjack is probably my least favorite of Graze’s signature flapjacks, but they’re still good. They’re moist and mild. Like.

Caramel Apple is my son’s and my favorite dipper. The caramel is deliciously sweet, and the apples are the same plump apples featured in Garden of England. Love.

Strawberries and Cream Protein Granola Topper always receives two big thumbs up from my son. It’s sweet, soft and crunchy. The yogurt balls taste like candy. Love.

In addition to providing nutritional information on each of the snacks I received this month, Graze also included additional information about the benefits of cacao. Cacao is a superfood I can get behind!

I thoroughly enjoyed this month’s snack selection based on my inputs into the Darwin algorithm! I look forward to seeing what the algorithm will send next month. In the meantime, I’ll update my preferences: original fruity flapjack– like; all others – love!

Huge disappointment. My 12 year old daughter found the graze website and talked me into signing up because we would get a small free snack box. You needed to sign up for a recurring shipment but it says you can cancel at any time. My daughter chose her preferred snacks and I put in my visa information. A few days later I felt uncomfortable about the over-priced service and cancelled it. A very rude customer service representative “Risa” told me we could only have the “free” box if we hadn’t cancelled the recurring order. Well, that isn’t a free sample box is it? Instead of them going ahead and sending us the box and hoping we start ordering she was insulting for several emails and drove me here. My daughter is quite sad (and a little disillusioned, after all they offered us a free sample box). Avoid. So much easier and cheaper to just buy snacks yourself. Fresher too.
