My Geek Box is a monthly subscription of geek goods shipped directly from the UK to your front door. Each month you’ll get a mystery box filled to the brim with geek gamer and retro gear, including a limited edition t-shirt in your chosen size. Every month they choose a different theme: from zombies, to superheroes, to video games and even your favourite films. It’s not only the theme which changes from month to month, either – each box is unique, filled with a fresh batch of awesomeness. Because it ships from the UK, shipping costs factor into the overall expense of the box.
Here is everything from the box.
Adventure Time: Jake & Tree Trunks by Jazwares – $24.99 Adventure Time is ultra popular but I’m no expert on it. I see the booths at different comic cons that I attend and I know a lot of kids that like them. I was going to open this one up and give these guys to my nieces but then I saw the price. These guys are staying on card.
Mos Eisley Cantina T-Shirt. The shirt is in the style of the Hard Rock Cafe logo. Mos Eisley is the place where Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi met Han Solo and Chewbacca in the first Star Wars movie. Tattooine is the planet that where Mos Eisley is located. I know, you already knew all of that.
Mickey Mouse Dorbz Vinyl Figure – $8.99. It doesn’t get any more Disney than Mickey Mouse. The Dorbz line from Funko give characters a fun look and definitely look good for the Disney animated characters. My Mickey has a bit of an imperfection on his left eye. This is not the fault of My Geek Box as it was inside the well protected package.
Big Bad Bot Inc. T-Shirt. Okay, I stated the obvious among Star Wars nerds for the Mos Eisley t-shirt but I could use some help on this one. I like the way the shirt looks but I have no idea where it is from.
Your Pikachu Needs You Poster. This is a full size poster and a gentle reminder to keep playing Pokemon Go! I’m really liking the old style look that is reminiscent of Uncle Sam wanting you.
This box was full of surprises. I liked receiving such varied items. Adventure Time, Pokemon, Disney, Star Wars and a robot that I haven’t heard but is on a clever t-shirt.
