Fruit For Thought is a monthly subscription box that brings cute gift items that follows a vegetable or fruit theme. You’ll get an assortment of items like jewelry, bath and body products, stationery, yummy goodies, home accessories, and a lot more.
The items are neatly wrapped in a bright yellow tissue paper.
The theme for the October 2016 Fruit For Thought Box is Peanut Butter Banana!
The information card shows the items included in the box, as well as the Etsy shop links.
All the goodies in the box!
Accessories by Ash Banana Sink Strainer ($6.99) I love that an item in every box comes wrapped in cute custom fruit wrapping paper!
I just think this is the darndest thing, and I’m totally using it! Everyone needs a sink strainer and I’m using this one! It will make me smile every time I see it!
Ainslee25 Elephant Heating Pad ($10?) You should be able to microwave this or pop it in the freezer for a cold pack. The information card explained that elephants eat peanuts, and that worked for me, because it’s super cute!
Laffy Taffy Candy: Did you know that yellow is my favorite flavor, whether it’s lemon or banana? Love Laffy Taffy in Banana!
Sweet By Kristy Chocolate Peanut Butter Fud.g.O’s ($1.75) This is basically an Oreo opened up, stuffed with peanut fudge, and covered in chocolate. Yes please!
Banana Slicer ($2) I howled with this one! I wanted one and now I have it! It seems silly but it’s perfect for making fruit salad, or getting kids to help! Also if you’re unaware of this internet meme, you should probably read the Amazon reviews of this banana slicer.
Pur Bliss Banana Bread Soy Candle ($4.99) I think banana bread is an underrated treat (my husband would agree that I don’t make it enough!). This just made us hungry for banana bread, but we loved it. Made with veggie soy wax and a cotton wick.
The Jam Stand Drunken Monkey Jam ($1.78) I love The Jam Stand – famous for their boozy jammy concoctions, and most especially this tropically flavored banana jam with rum and lime. This is a small container and you’ll want to buy more, but a great brand discovery if you haven’t tried it.
Banana Pen ($0.73) My husband helped unbox this one and I stupidly picked this up and played with it (wrongly) trying to guess the item. “… It’s a pen, Brandy…” “OHHHHH!” This got another good laugh from me, and it’s something I can keep on the counter in the kitchen without stressing myself out, because it’s funny.
Fisk and Fern Peanut Butter and Jelly Card ($5.50) This card, with the peanut and jam love, will make a sweet love note!
The inside says “I’m so berry nuts for you!” I love cards with printed insides. It takes the pressure off.
Pretzel Art Banana Pudding Pretzels ($4?) I think these are mini versions of the regular size. Whatever they are, they’re delightful – covered in white chocolate and banana chips, my husband had to fight me for half of them.
PB Crave Coupon: And a little coupon for PB Crave! (A good one if your store doubles!) And now I want to try Coco Bananas!
I think this box is just mega fun and smile inducing! They have great themes, always nail them, and you’ll always find something unique, yummy, good for you, good for the house – seriously, the curation is top notch here!

The reviews for the banana slicer are not for this model. The highly reviewed model is for the Hutzler 571 Banana Slicer at this website: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0047E0EII/ref=pd_sbs_79_1?ie=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0047E0EII&pd_rd_r=8Y1X8WD9ZEQDZQSGZK3X&pd_rd_w=f20RU&pd_rd_wg=4aBAN&psc=1&refRID=8Y1X8WD9ZEQDZQSGZK3X
They also have some very interesting questions and answers for the product by consumers. I imagine that the concept is the same though.
