Fit Snack is a monthly subscription box delivering healthy nutritious snacks directly to your door. Every month expect 7-10 full size items plus samples of delicious and healthy snack foods.

Here’s a look at everything in this month’s box.

Fit Snack curates its boxes according to the following criteria:

  • Each product always containing two or more of the following: GMO Free, high in protein, low in sugar, gluten free, organic, raw, vegan and all natural.
  • Plus, we add in bonus items such as energy boosters, nutritional supplements, or refreshing beverages.
  • Finally, we find a little space for exclusive workouts, workout gear or other active lifestyle inspiration.

The front of the card tells you a little bit about each of the products in the box (and coupon codes for most…also, the box included a few paper coupons for some of the products).  20160927_083849

The back of the card features a workout (or in this case, two workouts!) — this month is “Fit Snack Boot Camp.”

Let’s take a closer look at what’s in the box!

Back Attack Snacks Almonds:  I’ve tried Back Attack almonds before and really liked them…but with fall, I turn into a pumpkin spice groupie.  I want all the pumpkin spice everything, so this item was totally my favorite in the box.  Nothing against the rest of the items, but seriously…pumpkin spiced snacks make my season.

Dang Foods Coconut Chips:  As the Dang Foods website says, they sell snacks that make you say “Dang that’s good!”  I’ve been really loving coconut chips recently.  I’m a big fan of coconut, and coconut chips make for super easy and tasty snacking.  The coconut chips in this month’s box are salted cacao flavored – making a perfect slightly sweet, slightly salty snack…yum!

Rawxies Chocolate Brownie Heart Bar:  I wasn’t the biggest fan of the texture of this brownie bar, but the taste was really nice…a rich chocolately flavor topped off with a bit of vanilla.  Even though it wasn’t my favorite texture, the fact that it’s a gluten/soy/dairy free product is pretty cool…it’s primarily oat flour, nuts, and dates, making it a good-for-you snack.

Dark Dog Organic Energy Drink: I usually don’t like energy drinks, but I do like coconut water and this one has an almost pina colada-like flavor.  I was surprised at how much I liked this and would be interested in trying more energy drinks that have coconut water in them.

Purely Inspired Organic Protein Shake:  Yum!  This protein shake has a nice vanilla flavor and blends really well.  I am a big smoothie fan and made this with some frozen berries – very nice!

AlphaMind Vitamin Coffee:  I haven’t had a chance to try this out yet, but I really like the idea here – quality coffee with added vitamins.  In addition to the light roast they included in the box, AlphaMind has darker roasts available too.

Shine Organic Fruit Pouch:  Sometimes you are pleasantly surprised by a combination of flavors you never would have put together…and then sometimes, um, not so much.  I wanted to like this item – I individually love all of the flavors so much.  But the combination of all of these flavors was not as pleasing to me.  I appreciate what Shine is trying to do with these fruit pouches, but I was personally not a big fan of the flavor combination.

Raw Rev Glo Superfood Bar:  This bar had a nice slightly salty peanut butter flavor – and I love peanut butter!  Yum yum yum.  I could definitely see using this bar as an easily portable snack.

In addition to the items listed on the information card, there were a few “bonus” items included in the box – including vitamin gummies, kamut, cold brew coffee, and tea.

Smarty Pants Gummy Vitamins:  I don’t use multivitamins, but if I did, I really like the idea of gummy vitamins and I’ve had the chance to try a few in various subscription boxes.  These gummies are tasty and go down easily.

Kracklin’ Kamut:  I’ll have to admit, I was unaware of the existence of kamut before getting this sample package.  It’s a toasted grain, yielding a satisfying crunchy snack.  The sample pack was tiny, but I think I’d like to get some more and really enjoy this new-to-me snack.

High Brew Cold Brew:  I love cold brew coffee and this is a super convenience way to enjoy it.  It is slightly sweetened, very smooth, and I really enjoyed it.  Yum!

Miracle Tree Tea:  And finally, there was a bag of moringa tea (strawberry flavored).

Even though I didn’t love as many items in this month’s Fit Snack box as much as I have other month’s, but there were a few things I really did like.  Additionally, what I like best is the variety – you never know what you like and don’t like if you don’t try them, and Fit Snack gives me a fantastic opportunity to try out new things.  And, of course, the products I don’t love are still nice healthy snacks – just not to my personal taste.   I would recommend FitSnack boxes to anyone who wants to try out new, healthy snacks!
