Disney’s Tsum Tsum Subscription Box is one of our favorite subscription boxes around, and we’re excited for this year’s Disney Tsum Tsum Countdown to Christmas Advent Calendar! This calendar is selling out pretty fast, but you can get it on Amazon for about $45. It’s also available at Toys R Us.
There is a very similar version at Target, and if you’re picking one of these up for a child or just because you think it’s cute, I would recommend grabbing that one. If you’re a collector and want to know the difference, there are a few different characters in each, and several characters are different sizes in one or the other!
Enjoy counting down the 24 days until Christmas with the Disney Tsum Tsum Advent Calendar. Open a new window each day to reveal a surprise Tsum Tsum figure or accessory and create a Gingerbread themed scene. There are 18 Tsum Tsum figures, 6 large, 6 medium in holiday attire and 6 small, as well as 6 holiday themed accessories and 6 seasonal head pieces in a Gingerbread House themed package. Each holiday accessory is stackable and can be used to stack a large, medium and small Tsum Tsum figure on its own or used to build out an even taller stack with other accessories! Head pieces fit on each large Tsum Tsum figure for the perfect holiday decoration. Collect stack and display your favorite holiday themed Disney Tsum Tsum characters! Some assembly may be required.
When you open up the calendar there is an adorable little winter play scene! The Target Calendar has an around the tree theme. There’s a little less room because it’s tree-shaped.
Looks like some Tsums are hiding in their boxes, ready to be stacked!
We (that’s me & the husband) were incredibly impressed with the doors on this paperboard calendar, which actually shut nicely. If care is taken with this calendar you can reuse it again and again every year. When I was growing up there was always the “new stuff” calendar, and one where you got to progress along in the story every year and open up a new box. Maybe you did or didn’t remember what was behind it, but it was always fun to open! If you want to keep all the items in order, be sure to
Now I couldn’t bear to ruin all my fun at opening the doors one by one – or your surprise either. If you must know what’s behind each door you can watch this video. Otherwise, no peeking.
I couldn’t help picking up the Tsum Tsum Stack & Display Set! I picked up the Costco version (available online here) with the 12 bonus figures for $24.99 shipped! If you can’t get this one, you can check Amazon – if you want one I recommend snapping them up when they’re at a reasonable price.
Sorry, I didn’t unwrap it, it’s for my kids for Christmas, but I thought it was worth showing if you’d like alternative storage for your vinyl Tsum Tsum calendar.
Annnd, if you’re really a collector, the 2016 Tsum Tsum plush advent calendar is coming November 1 for $139.99 at the Disney Store!
