Craftly is a monthly subscription box that sends 4-5 high-quality and unique lifestyle items from various categories such as art, tech, snacks, grooming products, home goods, and more. It is $25 and shipping is free to the U.S. You also have the option to send this as a gift. The subscription will automatically renew until you cancel.
The items were shipped in a sturdy box with an information booklet on top.
The product information gave a description of the items included, retail price, and where to find more, along with some discount codes on future purchases.
All of the items in my box. Craftly sent 4 items for the month of October.
First up is a card from Wintercroft that has a code on the back that can be used to access and download a mask template that you then tape to cardboard and cut, tape, glue, decorate, etc. I am not that handy. Nor do I wear masks. ($5.84)
Last month Craftly sent a pin, this month it’s a Banana Time Patch from Mokuyobi ($6), a company that also sells super rad backpacks and totally awesome accessories. I’m starting to have flashbacks to my Girl Scout days.
Unplugged Unlace 5″ Twistable Laces in Forest ($7.95) can be twisted around smartphone or earbud cords to keep them out of the way.
Game of Phones ($20) is a game where you put your cellphone to use to score points against your opponents. Who can take the best selfie, show a picture taken exactly one year ago today, etc. It takes a minimum of 3 players who each have a smartphone, of course. I think I will try to get my kids to play this at Thanksgiving.
The October Craftly box had a value of $39.79, which is just about the same as their goal of $40+. Unfortunately, this whole box was a disappointment to me personally. The game might be good for my teenagers, who may also get some use out of the laces, but the patch and mask are just too wacky for my tastes. Speaking of tastes, I was disappointed that there wasn’t a snack this month, since the previous boxes have had some great ones.
This subscription is suitable for men or women and would make a nice gift for an older teen or person in their 20’s.
