Your Bijoux Box October 2016 Subscription Box Review

Your Bijoux Box is a monthly jewelry surprise subscription box. Every month you’ll receive 3 curated pieces of jewelry delivered to your door. Each piece will come with their favorite styling tip and why it was selected.

The jewelry arrives well-protected. There are usually packing peanuts under the tissue paper ensuring your pieces will survive a bumpy trip.

The theme for this month is Spicy Fall!

The information card contains details about the jewelry along with styling tips.

Pretty and colorful organza bags surround the jewelry, which is also individually wrapped.

All the jewelry goodies! I love the warm tones for this theme!

Tortoise Layered Bracelet: This was the spoiler item and it’s a great contrast between the translucent tortise lucite and the bold gold toned chain!

I want to wear this all the time for fall! Especially with a fuzzy black sweater! 

This 7 inch bracelet will fit most hands but you’ll get a lot of extra mileage out of the additional extender, which adds about another inch to the bracelet.

Ella Amber Earrings: These earrings I think are my favorite. I love a fun dangly piece and I liked that this was only a half dangle.

The crystals really catch the light – I especially like the champagne ones!

Ombre Tortoise Pendant: This necklace is looong – about 28 inches! I love the ombre design that they pulled off with the bead work.

As is typical, a 3 inch extender is on the necklace.

I love the unusual design and the gold chain fringe on this piece. 

A bit of a closer look. Tip – if any of the bottom brown beads are on the back on yours – just turn the pin around!

I liked the style tip on the card to wear with an ivory sweater, jeans, and boots!

Bonus!

City Color Spice Me Up Natural Shadow Palette ($8.99) An eye palette with shadows that match the theme was sent to subscribers as a bonus.

The colors are shimmery and fun and applied OK. This palette does contain parabens. I wish it didn’t, but I don’t hold that against a jewelry subscription box. I think this is a fun way to experiment with fall shades before deciding to purchase them.

I think the themes for this subscription box have been really fantastic, and I loved the various shades of fall in this box – too many subscriptions have skipped straight to winter but this was like a pile of leaves. A chic, metallic pile of leaves!
