Beauty Box 5 October 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon – Boss Babe Comin’ Thru

Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty box with 4-5 deluxe beauty samples (sometimes full size) in every box. You’ll get makeup, nail polish and accessories, haircare, skincare, and more.

This month’s theme is Boss Babe Comin’ Thru. The products inside are meant to keep you looking good at the office.

The information card gives the details on each product, the retail value, and whether or not the item is full-size. 2 of the 5 items in this box were full-size items. I received Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil, Color Me Red, Emery + Ivory Custom Nail Appliques, Real Her Moisturizing Lipstick, and Amlactin Ultra Hydrating Body Cream.

The first item in my box is the Emery + Ivory Custom Nail Appliques ($12.99). This is a paint applique for your nails. No more messy nail polish bottles. Now you can be envied at work. There are different design patterns to choose from. As for me, I have no nails and these do not work well on short nails. BUMMER!

My next little item is Amlactin Ultra Hydrating Body Cream ($2.99). This is a nice addition to my moisturizer collection. This has a nice soft scent and does not leave my skin feeling greasy. It helps dry skin associated with Keratosis Pilaris. Nice to know. It worked great on my heels.

Next is the Chella Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil ($18) . I have yet to use a highlighter in my make up regime. Not quite sure how to use it but if it helps hide the bags under my eyes, I am all for it! How do you use a highlighting pencil? You can also use this on the corners of your eyes or to sculpt your brows.

I pretty sure this is not how you use it but I wanted to show you the color.

My next item is a sample of a perfume. It is Colour me Red ( $10). I don’t particularly care for this scent. It is a bit strong for me. What scents do you like? Do you have a favorite perfume? Mine is Body by Burberry but unfortunately, they discontinued it.

My last item is the Real Her Moisturizing Lipstick ($18).  I received it a dark red which I love! It has a nice moisture feel to it.  I’m going to be rocking this color at the office. LOL!  What is your go-to shade?

This box had a value of about $62 with a great variety of items.
