September’s Barkbox has arrived! Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. We selected the large box for our three dogs. Bella is a Rat Terrier, Odie is a Borador (half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever), and Daisy is an English Shepherd. You can save $10 on your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213 or get a free month with your subscription with code FREEMONTHWITHBARKBOX.
The paper is adorable. I love the scene which is a fun doggy take of Howloween.
A bushy tail toy means a happy doggy.
This sign cracks me up because there are a lot of dogs out on Halloween. We may take Odie out this year dressed as a lumberjack.
It’s time for trick or treating with Barkbox. Will our doggy reviewer find the box to be a trick or a treat?
Here are the items in the October BarkBox Large Dog edition.
The Butcher’s Block Pet Treats Bully Chew (appx $2.50) is a made in the USA treat containing USDA inspected beef. Odie thought it was a delicious treat.
The Made in the USA Green Bark Gummies (4 oz, $4.99) has duck listed as the first ingredient. The soft training treats support healthy skin and coat. Odie gobbled them up.
Tiger Lilly thought they were a delicious cat treat.
The doggies received the cutest little bones! The Chick or Treat Grain-Free Treats (5.5 oz, $6.00) have chicken as its first ingredient. Odie begged for more of the Made in the USA treats.
Kayla’s Cauldron ($14.00) is an exclusive toy by Bark & Co. It is shaped like a ball, has a squeaker, and short rope handles. Odie approved of the toy.
The Bite of the Living Dead ($12.00) is the dog’s version of a zombie squirrel. I am not sure if Daisy, our English Shepherd, will approve of this toy as a baby. It squeaks much to Odie’s delight.
Time to see what Odie thinks of the box. Bella and Daisy are busy being farm dogs at the farm and won’t be reviewing the box. Don’t worry. I saved them some treats. I wanted Odie to wear a costume, but it was over 80 degrees today which is highly unusual for where I live.
Odie is racing around with his zombie squirrel.
He’s excited that he caught the cauldron.
Check out his ears as he is ready to scoop up the zombie squirrel and bring it back to me.
He is racing around the blueberry bush.
He’s running fast to catch the cauldron before it falls to the ground.
It’s all about retrieving today. Odie is a happy doggy.
He galloped all over the yard as we played fetch with the toys. He was never still.
He is watching a cat as he asks to keep playing fetch.
Odie is enjoying the warm autumn day as he eats his chew.
Odie woofed that the box is a treat. He had so much fun playing with the October BarkBox toys and eating treats. He wanted to play fetch into the night. We had a great time playing together on an unusually warm autumn day. Check out Brandy’s Small Dog Box to see a completely different Halloween Box. Barkbox is an excellent choice for doggies and their humans that want fun boxes full of wonderful themed toys and treats.
