Wigglebutt Box September 2016 Subscription Box Review

We received this box for our review. Hello Subscription may earn compensation via links in this post. Read the full disclosure

Wigglebutt Box is a subscription box of “yummy and fun surprises for you and your dog that are delivered right to your door every month”. Each box contains a seasonal kerchief, a roll of poop bags, and a combination of 3-5 toys/treats/accessories.  Boxes are tailored to your pet’s size and toy treatment.  Pet parents are not forgotten either; there’s a gift included for you too!  Plans start at $35/month, but you can increase your savings by choosing a longer subscription option (3 mo., 6 mo., and annual plans available).  Plus, a portion of the proceeds from every box sold go toward an animal charity.

The box came nicely wrapped and with a fall themed information card featuring the original Wigglebutts, Mia and April.

There were brief descriptions of each item in the box.

wigglebutt-box-september-2016-review Everything in this month’s box!

Smokehouse 6″ Roasted Beef Rib Bone ($2.18). No added chemicals or preservatives in this bone! We’ll wait for a sunny day so Lindy can enjoy this one on the porch, which she will then proceed to bury and carry around with her for about 3 weeks, howling. She’s a funny gal, but loves bones!

Zippy Paws Chocolate Donut Plush Toy ($9.95). This donut toy has no stuffing, so its perfect for destructive chewers, and cute for all dogs! Yum!

Knot-ical Tuff Stick Knot Rope Toy ($7.60). We were sent a box for a medium sized dog, and received this rope toy, which I think is too large for Lindy to really dig into, but she’ll happily chase it around the yard. I like that they customize the boxes by size! They also customize by chewing level – we think this box must have been designed for an aggressive chewer.

Newman’s Own Organic Premium Dog Treat ($3.70 when you buy 6 bags). These fun dog treats are heart shaped, breakable for training, and made with organic grains, turkey, fruit, and most importantly for our dog – sweet potatoes! A hit!

Wigglebutt Box Dog Bone Cookie Cutter. The box included a recipe (in opening box photo) along with this dog bone cookie cutter. I think Lindy would love the recipe because it has pumpkin and peanut butter. This would be a fun activity to do with the kids instead of making stuff for just us!

Amazon Dog Waste Bags (BONUS). The box includes a roll in every box. Yay poop bags!

Wigglebutt Box Seasonal Kerchief. I love that this box includes a dog kerchief every month. Bandanas are really the perfect dog accessory – cute, crisp, and they just prance around when they have it on.

See?! She knows she’s special!

I really enjoyed the assortment in this box. Some dog boxes have too many toys for our preferences and we really prefer a wider variety than just toys and treats. I thought this was a great box, and seasonal too. It was hard to come up with a value for this box – about $30 or so. This is a little lower than the month to month price, but like with all doggy subscription boxes, a longer term will yield a better value! I recommend this box if you want a new swaggy kerchief for your pup each month!

Happy woofing!
