September’s SinglesSwag box!  I don’t even know where to begin.

The information card contains a brief description of each item and its’ value.  This month’s theme is, “The best way to be loved, is to love yourself.”  You can’t love someone else until you learn to love yourself, and you’ll never be happy if you’re not happy with yourself first.  Well, that’s how I’m going to interpret this.  Feel free to disagree or share your thoughts on this by leaving a comment below.

My Kitsch Necklace and Earring Set – Take Flight Feather Charm ($29.00):  This set is 14k gold plated brass and features an antique finish.  The necklace is 16″ and has a 1″ extender.  I adore the old school Polaroid look of the interior card.  The feather charm on the necklace matches the earrings and is so delicate looking.  This is also available in silver plating.

Torie & Howard Chewie Fruities ($3.99): I got my first taste of these in a Love with Food box and was hooked!  They’re similar to Starbursts, but softer and so much tastier.  Made from all-natural and organic ingredients, the featured assorted flavors are blood orange & honey, meyer lemon & raspberry, and pomegranate & nectarine.  They’re so good, I can’t even pick a favorite.

Da Bomb Fizzers – Fortune Telling Bomb ($7.50):  Most people that know me, know I love a good bath bomb.  This berry-scented bomb features a small fortune inside.  My favorite thing about this product – the origin story of the company.  Da Bomb was started by a two sisters when they were 10 and 11 years old.  This small “sisterpreneurship” has grown up along with the girls.  I don’t know about you, but as a 10 year old, the last thing on my mind was starting a business.  And, I definitely didn’t want to work with my sister.

Soap & Paper Factory Petite Hand Cream – Gardenia ($9.00):  White Gardenia laced with sweet coconut and citrus notes will sweep you off your feet! This sultry, sexy fragrance will linger for hours.  This formula uses a blend of oils (coconut, sunflower, macademia, and more), aloe, shea butter, and Vitamin E to soothe dry hands.  This absorbed quickly and left my hands very soft.  I may have to try the lavender or lemon verbena scents next.

Chico Bag Vita – Square Leaf ($12.99):  I couldn’t find this exact pattern on the Chico Bag site, but similar bags have matching price points.  The bags are made of polyester and can support up to 40 lbs!  The compacted size is 4″ x 2″ and features a carabineer so you can clip and go.  Unfolded, the bag is 12.5″ tall and 19″ wide.  It also has shoulder length straps.  I have a large collection of reusable totes and this will be a great new addition.  Plus, the Chico Bag is much more stylish than my normal shopping bags.

Here’s what the bag looks like opened.  And, Lexi was so interested in my unboxing that I let her help.  I don’t think she wanted to be this involved, though.  Just for reference, she’s nearly 12 lbs.  The bag handled her weight well, and there was plenty of room to add other items in with her.

Staying Strong:  A Journal by Demi Lovato ($14.99):  The journal is currently on sale at Amazon for $12.18.

Trying to capture all of the elements in this journal – lined pages, blank pages, and selected quotes.  My New Year’s resolution was to restart journaling on a regular basis.  I think I managed to go about 2 weeks before that ended.  But, something about this journal is encouraging me to renew my resolution.  The blank pages will be perfect for my random doodling.
