September 2016 Glossybox Subscription Box Review + Coupon

Glossybox is one of the original beauty subscriptions. You’ll get 5 luxury samples per month for $21. They have great packaging every month with the outer box (above) around the inner box (below).  This month was a specially designed inner box by Antonio Soares and it is gorgeous.

First look inside the inner box and the design is followed through all the way in here too.  The colors are stunning and so vibrant. I love the royal blue with the mustard yellow of the ribbon.

This month we were back to the normal insert in my Glossybox from the larger magazine last month.

Borghese Superiore State of the Art Mascara ($6.50 0.1oz) – This is a nice black mascara sample. It has a wide deep brush and went on nicely when I tried it.  I was laughing reading the info card as it told us that most women open their mouth when applying mascara since it is easier not to blink when your mouth is open!  I had no clue.

Phyto Huile Supreme – Rich Smoothing Oil ($11.76)  – We are getting into fly away season with all the dry air and this will be great for that.  It can be used before blow-drying for heat protection or as a finishing touch for a frizz-free style.  I’ll probably use it more after I blow dry to help keep down all of those fly away hairs.

Modellauncher Brow Duo Pencil ($12) – I actually have really dark thick brows so I don’t use many brow pencils however my grandmother is always more then happy to take them from me. She actually has one that turned white and the other is still dark brown so it bothers her to no end.  She will love this one and it looks nice and she loves when it has a brush with it and everything is all in one place.

Korres Modern Greek Apothecary Raspberry Twist Lipstick in Allure ($18.00) – This is a very exciting color and at first I was a bit afraid of it but then I swatched it and it wasn’t really that bad.  You can see it swatched below.  It went on really smooth and was very nourishing.  These twist lipsticks feature raspberry seed oil and includes antiozident protection so that your lips will feel instantly hydrated.  I’m a bit of a lipgloss junkie so finding a lipstick that is also as hydrating is a great find for me.

Sesderma Sensyses Cleanser($1.47) – Subscribers received either the Classic like me or the Lightening cleanser. I’m always looking for a great cleanser and I love getting samples in the boxes since I’m more likely to use them up then when I get a bigger bottle.

Sesderma C-VIT Moisturizing Serum ($5.20) – This serum is recommended to be used after using the cleanser above. It will minimize the appearance of fine lines, smooths crows feet, and brightens dark circles.  I’m hoping this is one that a little goes a long way since the sample is really tiny.

A very useful box from Glossybox this month for me. Nothing is just overly exciting except maybe the lipstick but all of the items are very useful and ones that will get used by either me or someone I know.  That lipstick just has me smiling since I really thought it would be crazy bright on me and I’m actually getting used to it and I think I will actually use it. I’m not huge in lipsticks but it is something I’ve been wanting to use more and this will be a great stick for me.

The information card has a sneak peek for the October box. These boxes will include Emite Lip & Cheek tint. I’ve recently been getting into more tints and I can’t wait to give this one a try.
