Petit Vour is a vegan beauty subscription box. For only $15 per month (or $23 if you’re in Canada like me) you receive up to five cruelty-free beauty and grooming samples. It is usually one color item, one hair or fragrance item, one skincare item, and one body item. A survey link is sent out upon signing up. Be sure to fill it out! There can be up to eight variations of the box each month. Boxes ship from the states and it took about a week for mine to arrive in Canada!

I absolutely love the art on the info card!

Odacite Green Tea and Lemongrass Radiance Serum ($3) This sample is a serum that will help restore radiance to your skin — I am always up for adding a serum to my skincare routine; my skin is in great condition as it is, but in the winter months I can definitely use a bit more of a glow to it.

Odacite has a couple dozen different kinds of serums, and each has a specific use. You can mix it into your daily moisturiser or apply a few drops right to your skin for a more amplified effect.

Adorn Cosmetics Hydrating Cream Foundation ($5) Adorn is an Australian line of mineral and cruelty-free cosmetics. This sample of their hydrating foundation is creamy and smooth. This Light-Medium shade was a good match for my skin. This is another product that is aptly timed as the weather turns cooler and skin gets drier.

Swatch! You can see it is a pretty accurate shade for me, and there’s a slight sheen to it as well.

Meow Meow Tweet Deodorant Cream ($14) This formula doesn’t have clay or baking soda in it, so it’s better for those with sensitive skin. I might give this a try, even though I still am not a fan of using fingers to apply deodorant. This also has tea tree oil in it, which is an antibacterial treatment.

Here’s what it looks like — in the hotter seasons it can melt slightly, but mine arrived solid and ready to use. The lavender scent is strong!

Osea Ocean Cleanser ($7.33) Oh my god, I am SO excited to see this — I tried a sample of an Osea moisturiser a while back and absolutely loved it — the scent, the feeling, and the ingredients. Osea products use the healing properties of the ocean — think things like algae, sea salt, aloe, and seaweed. This smells heavenly and rinses clean without stripping my skin of its moisture.

I am really impressed with Petit Vour; before I was introduced to cruelty-free and/or vegan boxes like this, I didn’t really put too much thought into how many chemicals are in my favourite products that I use every day. Now that I’ve been exposed to safer alternatives, it’s easy to never look back and stick with the good stuff! I love that one of the products was fullsize and the others were decent sizes. The total value was about $29.
