lookfantastic Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription from the UK. This box is currently $22 per month, but goes down to $16.50 per month on an annual plan and ships free to the US and Canada! In every box you’ll get a hand-picked selection of must have beauty fixes, which are wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. It will always include a minimum of six products.
September’s theme is celebrating the 2nd birthday of lookfantastic!
First look! Missing from this month’s box is the pocket copy of Elle UK — there’s a chance the magazine hadn’t been published yet by the time this was sent out.
There is a magazine by Look Fantastic in each box as well — this includes the product information, makeup tutorials, style highlights, and other features.
Some great items in this month’s box — I love how everything is laid out clearly.
I love this clover green tissue!
Everything always shifts around during transit with this box, and usually ends up covered in paper dust — easily wiped off, but still amusing.
Christophe Robin Purifying Shampoo ($9.30 USD) Christophe Robin is a stylist/colourist from Paris who launched his own haircare line a few years ago. This is the newest product which launched in spring of this year. It’s a purifying shampoo meant to help soothe greasy scalp and dandruff, and restore moisture to your ends. It is free of parabens, SLS, and silicones, and has cherry flower and jujube bark extracts to help balance and restore. I’m curious to see how this works with my hair as this one is formulated to be gentle enough for daily use without stripping the natural oils from the hair.
Bliss Lemon and Sage Body Butter ($4.32) I’m not a big fan of this scent, but it’s nice to have a smaller size for your purse or for travel. Additionally, Bliss is available widely at Sephora, so the wow factor is missing from this item — I love lookfantastic because it’s so far exposed me to lots of European and UK brands not easily accessible here in Canada.
Argan Liquid Gold Multi-Tone BB Cream ($31) Holy moses, this BB cream works out to being $90 USD for the full size — which is only 1oz! It’s infused with both argan oil and 24 carat gold! The cream itself looked a bit too orange to me (you’ll see in my swatch below!) but after blending it more patiently, it did even out. I still can’t believe this tiny sample is worth $30 — I am expecting miracles!
Lord and Berry Mini Luminiser Stick (~$5?) I actually couldn’t find this anywhere for sale, and since it’s a mini size it was even harder to scope out. It’s a very creamy, glowing rose gold highlighter. Perfect for precision application below the brow bone or at the inner corners of your eyes. I really liked this!
BareMinerals Marvelous Moxie Lipstick ($7.50) This shade “Get Ready” is now discontinued, but it’s a lovely pink colour that is moisturising and promises long wear. Again, BareEssentials is something we have here (and I have similar minis from Sephora point rewards) so I wasn’t as wowed by this.
Gatineau Paris ($6.70 for set of two pads) I’m kind of addicted to undereye patches lately, and these are infused with collagen to help refresh the undereye area. I always find it hard to stay still for 10 minutes, especially since it means I can’t wear my glasses, but when I’m having a bath they’re a nice treat!
Swatches! Argan Gold BB cream, Lord and Berry luminiser, Moxie lipstick.
This month’s lookfantastic had a value of over $60, and half of that value comes from the BB cream. This month we didn’t receive a magazine, and two of the products frankly were boring to me, but other than that this is another pretty solid box from lookfantastic.

Agreed…I bought two…thinking it was gonna be AWESOME….instead…I was VERY disappointed.i wish I’d have only bought one!
Just an FYI Bliss is no longer carried at Sephora. But I agree the box lacked the wow. Especially with it being an anniversary edition.
It is still carried at Sephora in Canada, which is where I’m from. 🙂
