Kawaii Box August 2016 Subscription Box Review

Kawaii Box is run by the same company who runs Japan Candy Box, if the adorable packaging isn’t enough of a clue!

The information is also really similar to the one from Japan Candy Box! There are 12 items in the box this month!

Cell Phone Bumper Bracelet So this bunny ear rubber bracelet actually has another function as a cell phone bumper — wrap it around your phone to protect it from smashing the screen if you drop it, and also make it easier to grip. I have a case on my phone, so this didn’t fit over it, but it’s a cute idea. I like that you can use it as a bracelet, too.

Cute Animals Stationery Set How great is this for back to school? It has four printed pencils, two lids, an eraser and a pencil sharpener.

Diamond Sparkle Ink Pen !!! This is my favourite item in the box! I love anything princessy and sparkly, and this pen fills all those needs. The tip is very fine and isn’t the smoothest, but it looks sooo pretty!

Popsicle Plush Charm This charm is so squishy and cute. I love its little smiling face and hairbow.

Lipstick Eraser Another awesome item for back to school!

Sunglasses Hairpin I wish I was young enough to pull this off, but it’s still really cute.

Harajuku Keychain This keychain has a big shiny star charm, a popsicle charm, and a smaller star charm. It clips easily onto your purse or your keys.

Fast Food Stickers I love these puffy stickers! Kawaii Box always sends stickers, and they’re great for sticking on stationery, planners, phones, etc.

Candy Rings These rings are adjustable but just a bit too small for my fingers. They’re so cute I’m giving them to a young friend of mine, though!

Cupcake Coin Purse This cute cupcake with sprinkles is made of a faux leather/vinyl and is a decent size.

The zipper has a keychain attached; the purse is big enough to put a good amount of coins in and some paper money too!

Bear Letter Set I used to hoard cute letter sets like this (I had so many Sanrio ones) and now that I have a penpal again, I am happy to see these!

Kracie Octopus Gummy DIY Kit Okay so these DIY kit involves using two different flavoured liquids to make gummy balls, which you then add to whipped foam and crunchy candy topping. It never ends up looking as good as it does on the packaging.

This month’s kawaii box seemed to have an emphasis on back to school with some cute stationery supplies and lots of keychains and clips to attach to your backpack or bookbag! Everything was super cute and colourful.
