Kairos is a subscription service that promises to deliver a selection of 3-5 items monthly that are handmade meant to inspire creativity and happiness. The subscription is $30 a month — they do ship internationally for an extra $15. They also have a mini sized subscription as well which includes one item from the standard box, and is $10 a month.

As outlined in the letter above, this will be the last Kairos package as subscriptions are being put on hiatus. The owner has decided to pursue other passions, which is understandable! The subscription has been around for over a year, which is always an impressive milestone.
On to the August gifts!
Sweet Pineapple Soap Popsicle ($6) Oh my gosh, these are absolutely adorable! They really do look like popsicles, and the sticks are a cute touch!
Erica Weiner Heartbeats Necklace ($65) This necklace is 14k gold plated and features the lyrics of a Talking Heads song — it’s a nice reminder for us to be present and appreciate that where we are is where we need to be. All the necklaces in this collection feature song lyrics, and I think it’s such a cool idea.
The words are stamped on letter by letter so each piece is unique.
Cotton Towel How gorgeous are the colours on this towel? The candy pink and white are so cheerful and bright. I love cotton towels — they absorb water more quickly and dry fast, too.
Penguin Drink Floatie I wanted one of these all summer. My parents have a pool and a hottub, and we would have gotten a kick out of this! In the meantime I might just use it in my bathtub to hold my tea…
Kairos’ August package had some awesome summer items — the necklace alone made my day, but all the items were selected carefully and thoughtfully. I’m sad to see the subscription go on hiatus, but who knows — it might be back someday!

They closed down without sending a lot of their customers the box they purchased or even notification that they are closing down and they are no longer replying to emails. The only way to reclaim our money is through our bank.
