iBbeautiful September 2016 Teen Subscription Box Review

iBbeautiful is a subscription box for teen and tween girls with inspiring accessory and beauty products, plus a positive message! iBbeautiful wants to help girls be confident, smart, brave, unique, and kind.  You can choose either tween (8-12 years old) or teen (13+).  You also can choose between a basic box (no tee) for $20/month or a graphic tee box for $30/month.

This is a review of the graphic tee teen box.  I reviewed this box with both my daughters — aged 14 and 11.

Here’s what we saw when we opened the box – I love how iBbeautiful puts the month’s theme on a placard on the inside of the box.  This month — “Be You!” 

Here’s a look at all the fun things in this month’s box.  Let’s see what we got!

In each month’s box is a great postcard to reinforce the theme- here is this month’s, all about being yourself.  iBbeautiful always includes a positive message for girls in their boxes.  

The back of the postcard included some great and inspirational quotes and slogans related to the message.  My girls actually liked this side of the card best.

T-shirt:  As I mentioned above, you can either get a basic (no t-shirt) subscription or a graphic tee subscription.  This is the shirt that was in this month’s graphic tee subscription box – it matches the placard from inside the box!  The shirt is a cute v-neck tee from CustomInk – it’s nice lightweight tee and the design is super cute.

Mini Backpack Purse:  This is such a cute item – it’s a real but mini-sized backpack, with a large pocket and a smaller front pocket, but it’s only about 5 inches long.  Instead of shoulder straps, it has a carabiner clip so you can attach it to a life-sized backpack or anything else.  It will work nicely as a wallet or pouch to hold tiny treasures.  (The “suede” bottom and polka dot print are so super cute!)

Bracelet:  Both of my girls just loved this bracelet – it is a thin bangle-style bracelet with this awesome pendant with awesome qualities for being yourself – happy, brave, thankful, compassionate, true, etc.

“Billfold” Mirror:  What is this attractive leather-like billfold, you ask?

Well, it’s a stand-up mirror!  Isn’t this cute?  Perfect for gym bags or lockers – plus the teal color is neat!  Both girls thought this was a cool item to get. 

Blossom Lip Gloss:  What’s not to like about lip gloss infused with real flowers?  My girls love lip gloss anyway, but this is something they hadn’t seen before.  Fun and different!

Fur Ball Key Chain:  I realize I am a tragically unhip mom, but the best way I can describe this is as a modern day rabbit’s foot.  Apparently rabbit’s feet aren’t a thing now (probably too un-animal friendly) but giant fur balls are a thing and apparently pretty trendy too.  This fur ball comes with a nice big key ring and leather-type tassels.  My daughter who loves key chains was very excited to get this item!

iBbeautiful is a great box for tweens and teens.  The items are fun, cute, usable, and totally age appropriate.  The positive messages totally rock and are presented in such a way that tween and teen girls can buy into.  My girls love iBbeautiful – your daughters probably will too!
