Bramble Box August 2016 Subscription Box Review + Coupon

Bramble Box is a monthly subscription for 3-8 year old children that helps foster pretend play. Each month, you can choose your own theme! Just remember to select your box by the fifth of each month. If you would prefer to receive the newest monthly theme, simply select “surprise me,” and you’re all set! Your box will arrive mid-month via priority mail.

Your first box will contain a special welcome pack that you can use throughout your subscription to supplement the material contained in each Bramble Box. All subsequent months will include a collectible sticker.

Each package arrives beautifully wrapped in tissue paper inside a decorative box.

August’s theme was On Safari! My kids are both fascinated by animals and were excited to learn more about animals native to Africa.

Everyone on safari needs appropriate headgear. Luckily, Bramble Box came through for us and supplied a safari guide hat!

It’s not a safari if you’re not looking for animals! Bramble Box included 12 animals to search for on the safari.

Since the safari will be in Africa, clearly kiddos will need a passport. And everyone knows that stamps are the best part of passports! Luckily, Bramble Box provided some appropriate stamps for the trip.

In order to better see the animals while on safari, my son was going to need a good pair of binoculars. He spent much time decorating his with washi tape, decorative paper and transparent tape.

He’s all set!

I hid the twelve animals in our front yard and challenged my son to go out on a safari searching for them.

After searching in earnest, he was able to locate all twelve animals.

A few were hidden sneakily and required extensive searching.

After he had found all twelve animals, we returned inside to learn about many of the animals we saw on safari. Once we had read about individual animals, my son placed the appropriate stamp in his passport.

All done! What a fun experience!

My son and I look forward to all the fun we have exploring Bramble Box each month! Each box contains 1-2 hours worth of activities that can be enjoyed again and again. I know, for instance, that we’ll be going on another safari later this week. We can’t wait!
