Birchbox Man September 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon

This month’s Birchbox Man celebrates the the end of summer and making sure you do something with it.

Birchbox Man is a monthly grooming and lifestyle subscription for men. Through it, you’ll receive 3-4 sample items that are smaller versions of what you can order from the Birchbox site, plus a lifestyle item that is full-size. Boxes are $20 per month.

The theme for June is “Make It Happen.” Also, the information card no longer gives the details on each item, but they are available on the Birchbox site. See your box at birchbox.com/mybox.  

Subscribers are given a sample choice opportunity via email/your account to choose a lifestyle item.  Here’s what I got for my September box.

Hudson Made Morning Shift Body Bar  ($16 for the full size). Wake up and smell remarkable.  The scent from this body bar are pleasing and definitely wake up your senses.  I’ve become a big fan of peppermint within my body cleansing products(as seen in last month’s box with the shampoo).

Cotopaxi Dopp Del Dia ($19.95). I was interested to see what this bag was all about.  It’s great for all of these travel size items.  The colors are a bit loud but that’s how things are at Cotopaxi.  I’m not sure how often I’d use this bag but it’s a cool idea, especially since everything is made from re-purposed fabric and no two bags are alike.

Brickell Daily Essentials Face Moisturizer ($4.75) The results were great with this face moisturizer!  My face is normally pretty oily so I wasn’t sure how much I was going to like this product.  To my surprise, I applied the lotion and it did not feel oily at all.  The scents smell natural but are not overwhelming which I liked.

Balla Body Powder ($7.72).  The talcum powder has a pleasant scent to it.  It’s not like many other scented talcum powders that have a strong smell that stays with you all day.  while it does work, it has a scent that will not compete with a cologne you may be wearing.

Spiced Citrus Beard Oil ($25 full size) Beards are everywhere, except on my face!  I shaved a few days too soon.  I will be prepared however when I grow it back with this beard oil.  It has a spicy scent with a hint of grapefruit.

Birchbox is still one of the most sought after subscriptions because it combines great products with superb value.  This month’s box, with the lifestyle item included, had a value of about $40!
