Beauty Box 5 September 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon – It’s So Hard Not To Play Favorites

The school is back in session and I am sure the teachers have their favorites already. This month’s Beauty Box Five is no exception. It has my favorite items in it.

Beauty Box 5 is a monthly beauty box with 4-5 deluxe beauty samples (sometimes full size) in every box.  You’ll get makeup, nail polish and accessories, haircare, skincare, and more.

The information card gives the details on each product, the retail value, and whether or not the item is full-size. 2 of the 5 items in this box were full size items. I received Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus Daily Moisturizer, Smooth Criminal HD Finishing powder, Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes, a Happy Hair Turban,  and  Go Smile Teeth Whitening Gel.

The first item in my box is the Pur-Lisse Blue Lotus Essential Daily Moisturizer ($55 for 1.7 oz). The moisturizer is for daily use and is perfect for wearing under your make up. It leaves your skin feeling great and it has sun protection of SPF 30. This is one of my favorite products. My sample was .5 oz for the cost of approximately $13.75. Do you use this product?  If not, you should.

My next little item  is Be a Bombshell Smooth Criminal Finishing Powder ($7). This is a finishing powder  to set your foundation. I don’t use this as often as I should. It is great for touch ups during the day also. I received a full size product. So now I have no excuse not to use it, huh? LOL!

Next is my go to product, Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes ($5.99) . I received a sample size ( insert sad face, lol).  These wipes are the best! Yes it does remove the impossible mascara. It is very good for sensitive skin. There is no perfumes or harsh chemicals used in this product. The size I received has a value of around $1.25. Bonus!!! It came with coupons on future purchases. I already have mine clipped and ready to go!

My next item is something I never tried before. It is Happy Brands Happy Hair Turban ( $18). Have any of you tried these before? I have long  hair so I wondered if this would actually be useful for me.

I must say I am IMPRESSED!! Sorry for the scary photo, LOL! This is very simple to use. Just place over your hair, twist, and secure using the elastic loop in the back. This of course is the full size version.

My last item is the Go Smile Teeth Whitening Gel ($29).  I received a .5 oz sample (around $4.50).  Everyone wants a bright smile, right?  This one is simple to use. You apply it to your toothbrush and brush for 2 minutes, twice a day. Simple, right? No expensive trip to the dentist.

This box had a value of about $45 with a great variety of items.  Enjoy your SPA DAY!!
