September’s Barkbox has arrived! Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme. We selected the large box for our three dogs.  Bella is a Rat Terrier, Odie is a Borador (half Border Collie and half Labrador Retriever), and Daisy is an English Shepherd. You can save $10 on your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213 or get a free month with your subscription with code FREEMONTHWITHBARKBOX.

Where to start? The September theme is Bark to School. The information booklet looks like a composition book covered with the requisite stickers. The featured product is Happy Howie’s Beef Woof Stix. The best part is The Barkfast Club! Bella is the Rebel Princess, Daisy is the Brain, and Odie is the Jock. Now I want to watch The Breakfast Club with my Senior.

The September 2016 BarkBox is ready for my students.

Happy Howie;s Beef Woof Stix
Happy Howie’s Beef Woof Stix

Daisy loved the Happy Howie’s Beef 11″ Woof Stix ($7.00) which is made from American ground beef. The sticks are easy to break and with two sticks included, there was more than enough for three doggies to enjoy. Beef is the first ingredient, and there is no chicken in it. Daisy is a happy dog!

Yummy!
Yummy!

I gave her a whole stick because sometimes she misses out on treats because of her chicken allergy.

Alphabet Treats
Alphabet Treats

Odie and Bella loved the Alphabet Treats (5.5 oz, $6.00) whose first ingredient is turkey. The grain free treats have chicken in it so no treats for Daisy. The soft treats are a fun way to teach your doggie students their ABCs.

Bark & Co Teacher Pet Treats

Daisy, the teacher’s pet, loved the Bark & Co Teacher’s Pet Treats (5 oz, $6.00). The soft treats are made in the USA. The second ingredient is pork which is why she is giving me the big, brown eyes as I look at the treats.

Measure Your Wiener Dog Toy

Daisy surprised me by playing with the Measure Your Wiener Dog Toy. She played with it for awhile which means I need to hide it from Odie, so it stays in one piece. It has a squeaker on both ends.

Did you Measure your Wiener?

Bella
Bella

I did! I don’t have a Wiener, but I have a Mini Rat Terrier.

Chew Percent Toy

The Chew Percent Toy – Large ($12.00) was also a hit with Daisy. It’s designed for heavy eaters and has a squeaker. Daisy surprised me by playing with the toy.

Odie visited his previous owners, an older couple, while I was taking pictures. He tried out everything when he came back home. Daisy and Bella are our doggy reviewers today.

Daisy took delight in playing with her Chew Percent Toy. She has a soft mouth and won’t put holes in her babies.

Bella
Bella

Bella is a little bit larger than our male cats. I used her as a size comparison for the milk carton which is huge. She loved the treats but felt the toys were much too big for her to play with this month.

My doggy students advanced to the head of the class! The September box may be Daisy’s favorite box. She loved playing with the toys and eating her treats. Bella and Odie loved the treats too. Odie is looking forward to playing with the Chew Percent Toy. Barkbox did an excellent job with the September theme. The value is over $40.00 which is great for a large dog box. Check out the lawsuit food dog toys in Brandy’s Small Dog Box.  Barkbox is an excellent box for those that love themes, toys, and yummy treats.
