Loot Wear (formerly known as Level Up) is a monthly subscription from Loot Crate with exclusive geek and gamer premium wearable accessories themed along with the current Loot Crate theme. You can purchase Loot Wear separately from Loot Crate – and the wearable items (the shirts/hats/etc) are available in ladies’ sizes, but not the socks. World of Warcraft Sylvanas T-Shirt: Ok, I gotta be honest, I think this shirt is a little much. It reminds me of my high school boyfriend who wore those shirts with wolves on the front.
It was a little odd for me to get a Sylvanas shirt and a pin (in the core Loot Crate for August). In addition, Loot Crate & Wearable subscribers ended up with 2 Archer shirts (see the August Wearable). I wish there was less overlap.
Harley Quinn Skirt: This is a pretty awesome item – but sorry, no photos of me prancing around with my butt hanging out. Let’s just say that it’s a little short in the back for ladies with any junk in the trunk – but a fun item nonetheless! It’s bold, perfect for cosplay, halloween, or a night out. Obviously need fishnets to complete the look! I poked around a little at Harley Quinn items at Hot Topic and I think this skirt is worth about $20 just as a guesstimate.
This was not a wow month for me – I really like it when they focus on geeky accessories – the apparel items in Loot Wear haven’t been big wins for me. Thoughts? We actually have more definitive item spoilers for September if you want to check them out! I am WAY more pumped about those!
