Sisley Paris Beauty Subscription is a monthly beauty subscription service starring 5 luxurious, expensive samples of products that would normally be found at upscale department stores such as Saks, Bergdorf GoodmanNeiman Marcus, Bloomingdales, or Nordstrom. It is $10 a month, however, you must sign up for either a 6 or 12 month term. The 6 month term is $60 while the 12 month term is $100 ($20 savings). When the term expires it will not automatically renew. Members of the My Sisley Club with either Gold or Platinum status should automatically receive the box as long as they maintain their status.

My products arrived in an unmarked black box with no return address. My items were wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a sticker.

Ohh la la! Sisley Paris claims to harness the power of plants to create the best cosmetics for your skin.

My products were inside of a silky drawstring bag. Très chic!

There was a welcome card that introduced the theme for August’s box, which was “The Get-Away”.

I love it when companies give instructions for using their products! They have it laid out nicely on their website too.

Phyto-Touche Tinted Body Sun Glow Gel ($9.53) This is liquid sun tan! I tried just a bit on my hand and inner arm and it was dark, slightly shimmery, and had a fresh, herbal/floral fragrance. It dried quickly and wouldn’t budge from my arm but I don’t think I would feel comfortable smearing this on my body. I might try putting a bit in body lotion though and see if I can get a sun kissed look. This isn’t a self tanner and doesn’t contain sunscreen so stay safe people.

Eau de Campagne Bath and Shower Gel ($2.73) I love shower gels and this one smelled fresh, clean, and green, like I had taken a shower in the middle of a forest. Now that was a good way to start the day! It left the barest hint of scent on my skin that faded quickly.

Here is the Phyto-Touche before…

..and here it is after I wiped it off with a wet cloth. I am going to have a temporary birthmark all day long.

Black Rose Cream Mask ($29.31) I was looking forward to the youth promising results of this leave-on mask. It is supposed to smooth, plump, and revitalize the skin with black rose extract. I applied it to my skin but perhaps I didn’t spread it on thickly enough because my skin instantly absorbed it and there was nothing left to tissue off after 10 minutes. I did suffer from some itchiness soon after applying and had very red cheeks and other red splotches on my face afterwards.

Creamy Mask with Tropical Resins ($21.35) Since this product is designed for oily or combination skin I am going to pass it on but it does promise to cleanse deeply, control shine, and refine skin texture. Contains kaolin, rosemary, and myrrh.

Eye and Lip Contour Balm ($23.80) I am always excited to try new eye treatments and this one can also be used around the lips to help smooth and moisturize the skin and prevent fine lines and wrinkles. Helps reduce puffiness under the eyes. No noticeable scent. I didn’t have any noticeable results either but you win some and lose some.

Only the products in foil had a full list of ingredients on them so if you have sensitivities to certain ingredients I would suggest contacting Sisley Paris. I do wish they had a list of ingredients on their website so customers can make a fully informed decision when purchasing or using their products.

I really enjoyed trying these products that were made in France! I will not be purchasing them due to the price but for $10 a month I can splurge and not feel guilty about it. My August box had a value of $86.72. These samples probably won’t last long but for a few days I can enjoy a luxurious beauty experience. The items chosen were good for this time of year and there were products for both oily and dry skin. The products weren’t as effective as the items in last month’s box but I still had fun giving them a try while pretending to speak French.

September’s box theme is “The Basics” and should have some items that will help you take care of your complexion.
