The paper goods arrived in a durable envelope. They were further protected in plastic.
I am loving the boho design. I felt a sense of peace while opening the July 2016 box. I love beautifully designed items. Everything is printed on cardstock and can be laminated.
I was pleasantly surprised to see Scripture Cards! I am going to laminate them and keep them by my computer desk for reflection. It appears the Scripture is from the Holman Christian Standard translation. My favorite Scripture out of the four is the Proverbs 29:17: Iron sharpens iron and one man sharpens another. We can always learn from each other!
I was taking photos of Paper Works while the kids and I were discussing if we should attend my husband’s last minute business trip to Chicago. I joked around that maybe God would send me a sign because there was much to do around the home and the farm. He did! Chicago knows how to do food right! We did eat well and visit a few of our favorite places in Chicago. I haven’t decided if I am going to frame it or laminate it. I will think of Chicago and our last minute trip every time I see the print. We left the very next day for the trip!
The idea behind Paper Works is that marvelous designed sheets will make you use them! This August calendar is beckoning to be used. I am going to list my children’s activities and deadlines on it. It can also be laminated if you want to reuse it next year or use the calendar to teach a younger child. Use a dry erase marker or vis a vis overhead markers to mark it on the laminated sheet. A Mr. Clean Eraser or dry eraser will clean it off and leave it as good as new.
The note cards are an excellent size for jotting notes of encouragement and warm wishes to people who need it. Or just saying hello to a friend, a quick thank you, or whatever comes to your mind. I find that people enjoy receiving warm, joyful mail and will put the notes to good use.
The note paper has many possibilities. Laminate those notes that you do not want to fade away. Use the note paper for that dreadful, boring meeting. The paper reminded me of the career workshops that I used to attend where I received a folder with a couple of pieces of paper in it for notes. This note paper is much more colorful!
Paper Works is a fantastic subscription box for those that love beautifully designed paper goods. The items were uplifting and brought me joy. My favorite item is the art print because of the memory associated with it. The designs are gorgeous and stylish. It’s an excellent subscription box for those that want to “make the mundane marvelous.”
