Lucky U Box
Lucky U Box

LuckyUBox is a themed care box for college students that has fun essential items and tasty snacks. Choose a 3 or 6-month plan for your college student. You can send a photo or personal note to be included in the box at no additional charge. I checked past boxes and saw boxes such as Halloween, Warm and Cozy, and March Madness. Lots of fun and warmth!

I had no idea what to expect! I was excited and nervous to open the box because T, age 17, will be attending college in 2017! Sniff, sniff.

T assisted me in the review. He saw Emmy’s Coconut Vanilla Macaroons and gave the box two thumbs up.

LuckyUBox – August 2016

The August Box is jammed pack with items. T approved of their selections. They are the type of products he is looking for because of his involvement in sports.

To Do List and Cacti Mini Erasers
To Do List and Cacti Mini Erasers

The To Do List ($1.00 @ Target) is a 60 sheet list pad. It makes for easy checking off or leaving notes in dorm rooms. The 20 ct mini cacti erasers ($1.00 @ Target) are adorable. It adds a little fun to homework.

Caki Water and cactus paper straws

T was a little apprehensive trying out the Cali Water Cactus & Berry ($2.49). It had a slightly sweet taste. The prickly pear fruit is harvested in California and Mexico desert regions and is non-gmo verified. He liked that there was no sugar added. The cactus paper straws ($0.40?) are adorable and add pizzazz to reusable water bottles.

ReFocus Tropical Citrus Pog

The ReFocus Natural Energy Shot ($2.00) is what a student needs to finish up term papers. It has 120 mg of caffeine from green tea extract which is about equal to a cup of coffee. It is non-gmo and gluten-free. T can’t wait to try it out.

LuckyU Hand Sanitizer and EO Organic Deodorant Wipe

We visited colleges during the winter last year. There was a lot of coughing and sneezing all over the place. The LuckyU Hand Sanitizer ($1.00?) will be a useful item to keep in the backpack. T liked the idea of having an emergency EO Organic Deodorant Wipe – Tea Tree ($0.69) in his gym bag. It kills odor causing bacteria and has no aluminum salts, propylene glycol or zinc salt in it.

Andalou Naturals Face Mask and Alba Lip Balm

Wow, these are brands that I buy! The Andalou Naturals Tumeric & Gold Clay Face Mask ($3.69). The mask tightens pores, even tone and promotes healthy circulation. The mask is applied to the face for 10 minutes and then wiped off. It’s gluten-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and non-gmo verified.

The Alba Hawaiian Lip Balm ($2.95) is made out of 82% certified organic ingredients and is 100% vegetarian. It’s perfect for keeping lips moist while walking around the campus on windy days.

T pointed out that he is a male. I pointed out that he needs to find a wonderful girl at college to marry. It can be used as little gifts for your friends or girlfriends.

Sour Sweets

Both boys (7 and 17) loved the Surf Sweets Organic Peach Rings ($1.90). They are organic, vegan, gluten-free, and non-gmo verified treats. No feeling guilty when eating the treats.

The Purely Elizabeth Original Ancient Grain Granola ($4.99) is a yummy non-gmo, vegan, gluten-free treat for those late study nights. This Bar Saves Lives ($1.69) is the type of bar that is appealing because the company gives food to a child in need for every bar purchased.  It is also fair trade, gluten-free, and non-gmo verified.

T is familiar with the Emmy’s Coconut Vanilla Macaroons ($2.49). They are vegan, raw, gluten-free, and non-gmo verified. It has a sweet, nutty taste.

T loved the LuckyUBox. It’s the type of treats that he prefers because of his diet and workout regimen with cross country and track and field. I am impressed with the variety of products, the brands, and the fun items.  It is the type of brands that I want to see in boxes for me! The past themes look like a lot of fun. The value of the box is around $28.00 which is a couple dollars under the per box price for a six month subscription.  It’s an excellent box for your college student to enjoy!
