Loot Gaming July 2016 Subscription Box Review & Coupon – STRANDED

Loot Gaming is a monthly subscription box from Loot Crate featuring collectibles, apparel, accessories and more from the biggest and best video game universes. Each box will have $60 in items, plus a booklet/mini-mag and pin.

The Loot Gaming box for July 2016 had a STRANDED theme. I love the fold-out temple, great to pose Lara in!

Every box comes with a mini-mag – called The Game Manual.

The mag comes with a curator’s letter!

I love how the item pages give you extra game knowledge and information, instead of just being about the item! There are also some GREAT gaming features in here! If you’re not into a game or don’t know about it, these extra tidbits make you not into it yet.

The back of the magazine has some binary codes at the back.

July 2016 STRANDED Pin – The Loot Gaming pins are designed to look like game tokens/coins. This one is brushed nickel and represents human vs nature!

Tomb Raider Exclusive Lara Croft Action Figure: 20 years! Lara has come a LONG way in that amount of time and really is truly a gaming icon.

Although this looks like a Funko Mystery Mini, it isn’t – it’s from Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix. It has a nicer quality than a MM and some great detail including dual pistols (and really nice holsters).

The only thing about this fig is that she’s looking down. Not so great for a desk figure but a great pose for up on a shelf.

I loved that her ponytail had a ponytail holder too. Super cute rendition of a total badass! Check out the video on the Amazon Rise of the Tomb Raider pre-order page for a nice little video of the past 20 years of Tomb Raider. I highly recommend it!

Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Flask: Perfect item for Black Flag, a rousing pirate adventure. Although it would have been cool to see something more period than the standard flask, it really fits, plus you can keep this on your hip to swig from while playing. Nice embossed design.

Far Cry Primal Exclusive T-Shirt: Far Cry Primal is all about the stone age! I love the mammoth and sabretooth tigers represented on the shirt – humanity’s original fight for survival! Besides other humans of course!

Dead Island Banoi Exclusive Resort Towel: Come see what Heaven on Earth looks like. Come to beautiful Banoi, the pearl in the necklace of the Oceania Archipelago.

Looks like a standard beach towel from Banoi Royal Palms where the action for Dead Island occurs. Perfect for my luxury holiday vacay.

But unfurling the towel leads to a deeper mystery! Looks like we has zombies. Cool quirky item with good humor – plus even if you’re not into Dead Island or zombies I think it’s a great item!

This month was totally different than last month – no fan designed items (they were cool, do it again!), but two items that help transport you to a gaming universe (the towel & the flask). I’m liking this mix, especially with the Tomb Raider figure, which should be a hit with everyone, because Lara Croft.
