Lil’ Bear Book Club is a family owned and run monthly subscription service that sends either 3-4 board books ($16.99 per month) or 2-4 picture books ($17.99 per month) to your home. Shipping costs $5 per month, and discounts off the monthly price are available for longer subscriptions. This is a great subscription for families with children 0-6 years of age at home. This month, I received the picture book subscription.

“You’re a Crab! A Moody Day Book” by Jenny Whitehead ($13.94) uses animals to describe the range of moods and emotions parents and children experience throughout the day. It was adorable! Both of my children love animals, so this was a win for them. My son appreciated the word play in the title, and I loved the illustrations!
“Night Knight” by Owen Davey ($14.31) has another fun word play in the title! This book is a fun easy read that tells the story of a boy who pretends to be a knight who needs to go to bed. On each set of pages, he goes through another step in his bedtime routine, all while battling crocodiles, climbing towers and doing all the other things that knights do. Both of my kids thought this was a lot of fun to read!
I very much enjoyed my second shipment from Lil’ Bear Book Club. Both of my kids thoroughly enjoyed each of the books we received this month. The presentation with individually wrapped books is a great touch! I can tell that a lot of care and attention to detail goes into this family-run business. My kids and I can’t wait to see what’s inside next month’s box!
