Five Four Club Subscription Box Review & Coupon – August 2016

Five Four Club is a men’s clothing monthly subscription club – sign up, pick a style profile and your sizes, and get clothes every month. T’s style profile is “casual.”  This subscription ships at the end of the month. The subscription is a $60 flat monthly fee, and traditionally subscribers receive a variable number of items each month, depending on the value of the month’s selections (months with several items usually include a tee shirt or other lower value item).

PA Anna: The Caswell Button Down Shirt in Green (reg price $65.00, club price $32.50) is a great start for the transitional weather that we experience in our area. It is made out of 55% linen and 45% cotton making it a lightweight shirt that can be worn button up or unbuttoned with another shirt. It has one pocket and extra buttons are sewn on the material tag.

T: I like it. It feels comfortable, and the shirt fits well.

PA Anna: The Manor Slim Pants in Khaki are the type of pants that T likes to wear. I did not check the size before giving it to T. He received a 29 slim instead of a 31 slim. This marks the first time I received a size that did not match the packing slip. I was surprised that the FiveFourClub tag looked distressed. Maybe it is part of the look? It’s 98% cotton and 2% spandex.

T: I didn’t like them because they were the wrong size. They are nice pants that I would have loved if it was the right size.

I took the tags off before giving the clothes to T which makes the items nonreturnable. He was able to squeeze into the pants for the photo although he was uncomfortable. The pants come in one length and are to be hemmed which is why it’s too long on him.

T’s Final Thoughts:  I was a little bummed that I only received two items after receiving four items for the last two months. I wouldn’t feel as disappointed if the pants fit. I do like the shirt which is not heavy. It’s a great shirt to wear now because sometimes it is hot and sometimes it is cool. I wear my FiveFourClub clothes often. It’s great for those that have an athletic build.

PA Anna’s Final Thoughts: Ugh! I now know to double-check the sizes. Common sense but I have gotten complacent because everything has been fitting lately. Ignoring the sizing issue, the outfit is ideal for T. He loves skinny pants. He likes to pair button down shirts with T-shirts. It’s on trend and is a style that he loves. He enjoys being able to go into his closet and have stylish clothes. It’s  an excellent clothing box for those that want to update or upgrade their wardrobe!
