Yume Twins Box July 2016 box

YumeTwins is brought to you by the same people behind TokyoTreat, so you know it’s going to be awesome! That purple box alone — how cute is that? It’s printed with everything kawaii, from unicorns to wands to clouds and stars and hearts. I’m keeping mine to store stationery in, since it’s pretty roomy!

The theme for this box is Sanrio All Stars.

There’s a lot of feature articles inside the magazine. One of them – the Kawaii Trend of the month – features Tsukematsuge, which gives anyone that cool Manga or Anime look.

There’s also articles about Kawaii Cafes and Harajuku Fashion.

Like with TokyoTreat, there’s an adorable colourful magazine included that contains the product info, facts about Japan, information on contests, and so on. The quality is really high, which goes along with the rest of the box!

Yume Twins Box July 2016 review

Everything in the July 2016 YumeTwins Box!

Yume Twins Box July 2016 (4)

Hello Kitty Plush: Subscribers received HK or My Melody, each bearing a unique Japanese name. Ours is Satsu-chan! (or chyan, depending on if you’re being cutesy?)

Hello Kitty Randoseru Charm: This charm baffled me. The booklet says that a Randoseru is a classic backpack commonly used by elementary students in Japan and is perfect to store coins and small items.

Aww, Hello Kitty has a cute pom-pom tail! I’m not sure about the coin thing – it’s open on top. Maybe good to store your washcloth??

Yume Twins Box July 2016 (6)

My Melody Socks: There was a variety of these – My Melody, Hello Kitty, or Little Twin stars.

Harajuku Kawaii Bracelet: Colorful bracelets are trendy in Japan (according to the booklet!).

These socks are so cute – love the little figural hands! These socks are sized for someone with small feet!

Shinada Poodle Plush: Is this an actual dog? My daughter loved it – it reminded us (obviously?) of a Tsum Tsum.

Look at that tail!Yume Twins Box July 2016 (11)

Harajuku Princess Tiara: The box also included a little Harajuku princess street style.

This is perfect to add some bling and incorporate the trend into your own style, or if you’re a little girl and just like princessy things!

Yume Twins Box July 2016 (13)

Hello Kitty Memo Pad: This memo pad works similar to the Frixion erasable pens — you can use ballpoint pen to write on the pad, then the little red heart is actually an eraser you remove and then use to erase your doodles!

Hello Kitty Pouch: A cute little drawstring bag with a fun plaid and bow design!

This is a cute box, and definitely one of the youngest trending of the kawaii boxes that we’ve reviewed. It has real fans amongst adult kawaii fiends too, so it’s good to share! My daughter literally scavenged this entire box – except for the memo pad which I tucked away for nail duty! Everything is officially licensed, but I didn’t notice any exclusive items in this month’s box – maybe next box!
