…as well as a list of all the items included in the box.
White squiggles everywhere! An outside shipping box cradles the decorative interior box.
The second box is neatly wrapped in tissue.
I love the blue bow!
This is starting to feel like a matryoshka subscription!
Everything inside my June box!
UPDATE: The item on the left, including the acrylic box, wasn’t part of the subscription!
There’s a second (miniaturized, if you will) information card inside the box.
Sugar-dusted Blueberry Pie: This adorable pie has exquisite detail, down to the folds in the crust and dimples on the blueberries!
The miniatures are so tiny that it is tough to get a focused picture! The detail really is amazing — this pic shows the individually-crafted mint leaves.
Bottle of California Red Wine: The label on this bottle of Burgundy is completely legible.
Inched-scaled Cosmopolitan: The Cosmopolitan is one of my favorites. The twirled lemon slice dangling off the edge of the glass is a really impressive touch.
The drinks look just like the real thing!
Handy 6mm Extension Cord: I thought this item was great. It is such a random thing, yet it is its ordinariness that makes it impressive.
SquintBox Branded Designer Table Candles: These tiny candles have pre-dripped wax and tiny little wicks.
Vintage Cosmopolitan Magazine circa 1964: The printing and photograph on this magazine look just like the actual Cosmos did back in the day.
It’s actually really hard to distinguish from the real thing without the benefit of perspective.
The back of the magazine has an actual full text Coppertone ad from the era.
The printing on these items is clear, it’s just smaller than I can capture with my camera!
Are these full-size items on a covered table, or miniatures?
For perspective, the items as compared to a standard Julep nail polish bottle.
The food, drinks, and magazine, candle, and extension cord packs each came with quotation on the back.
This was a great box! Even if you are not a miniaturist, the detail and accuracy of these pieces is itself fascinating. They make great decorations for doll houses, shadowboxes, your cubicle, or as Monopoly pieces!
What did you think of SquintBox?
The following item was provided as an example of a promotional item for a contest and is not part of the June Box.
Limited Edition MGM Ash Tray: This piece is modeled on the MGM ash tray seen on Mad Men!
It is free-standing and beautifully crafted by Michael Yurkovic of Atomic Miniatures (specializing obviously in mid-century modern!).

Do you ship to Canada or only the US?
Oh my goodness! I love these things even though I do not need them.
My aunt used to be super into miniatures – she had two giant printmaker’s drawers hanging on her wall full of probably 1000 miniatures. I got a shelf of my own for my birthday when I was younger and collected them pretty seriously for a few years. I’ve always loved tiny things.
