Soooo Cute
Soooo Cute

It’s warming up in my neck of the woods. Bella and Odie love the warm weather; Daisy not so much.

First Peek
First Peek

Pet Treater stayed true to its July spoilers. The doggies will be happy to start eating and playing with the items from the July box.

Theme
Theme

The July theme is Dog Days of Summer! I saw doggy sunglasses at my optometrists last month!  I could see Bella being totally down with that while practicing paddleboard yoga. August will be Best in Show!

The July 2016 Pet Treater box has red, white and blue along with items to keep cool.

Blue Dog Silicone Tray

J, age 7, and I will be making the dogs a pupsicle treat later this week. The Silicone Frozen Treat Maker With Magnetic Pupsicles Recipe Card (appx $10.00) will make any dog happy. The recipe is for a simple, no-bake frozen treat that the dogs will find woofalicious. I love that the recipe card is magnetic, and that the two items were packed together.

Spongeables
Spongeables

The Spongeables Spa-In-a-Sponge for Dogs (2.5 oz. $6.19) is perfect for dogs that don’t want to take a bath. The sponge will last up to six months when used on small and medium size dogs. It has aloe and tea tree in it.

Who Me?
Who Me?

We joke that Daisy is a self-cleaning dog because she’ll come in filthy and be sparkling clean an hour later. I am going to try it on her because she hates baths.

FrsotyBowl Chilled Pet Water Bowl

Place the FrostyBowl ($19.50) freezer core in the freezer for two hours, place in the holder, add water, and serve. It holds 16 ounces of water. I haven’t been able to test out the claim that it will stay cool for eight hours because the cats and dogs keep drinking from it. I also feel that a 16-ounce bowl size is more suitable for a small dog than a big dog. Odie drained it in about a minute while we were taking pictures outside.

Three Cheese Pleasers
Three Cheese Pleasers

The Three Cheese Pleasers by Emmy’s Gourmet Canine Creations (appx $3.50-$5.00) was greatly enjoyed by Daisy. The cookie smelled delicious and had Cheddar, Colby, and Monterey Jack cheeses. It’s beautifully decorated for the Fourth of the July holiday.

Loving Pets Grill-icious Turkey Treats

The Loving Pets Grill-icious All Natural Turkey Treats (8 oz, $7.99, sale $3.22 [Amazon Prime Add-On]) are made from turkey and sweet potato. The made in the USA treats are made with USA sourced ingredients. The three dogs loved it!

Loving Pets Grill-icious All Natural Beef Treats

The dogs loved the Loving Pets Grill-icious All Natural Beef Treats (8 oz, $6.87). There no by-products or preservatives in the ingredients. It is beef with sweet potato. They liked the beef treats slightly better than the turkey treats.

ASPCA Rope Toy
ASPCA Rope Toy

The ASPCA Tug Rope Toy with Football (appx $10.00) is an excellent toy for Odie. He loves playing tug of war and chewing on rope toys. It also gives 3-7% of the purchase price to the ASPCA. The colors are festive summer colors.

Odie
Odie

Odie is proudly showing off his patriotic side by wearing the star bandana (appx $5.00).

The Chill Tube Cool Core Towel ($8.75) is the human treat this month. Wet, wring and wear. It’s a timely gift to help the humans stay cool during the dog days of summer.
