Peaches and Petals July 2016 Subscription Box Review

Peaches and Petals is a subscription box that centers on trying new experiences for only $20 plus free shipping and handling. This is a lifestyle box so it is ever changing to reflect what is going on in fashion and fun.

The enclosed card gives details on how to win the July giveaway as well as ways of staying connected via social media. After checking out the Petals and Peaches Facebook page I will give them props for some amazing giveaways!

On the flip side is the list of contents of this month’s box.

Neatly packaged but I felt that the box was on the large size for what was in it.

I love this flower headband! It’s dainty, girly and so stylish. The card also gives you ideas on how to create some adorable looks with it. I’ve seen the price of these range from $5 up to $15, depends on what style is desired.

Lyric Bracelet that say’s “Don’t Stop Believin'”. I love this song but this bracelet leaves a lot to be desired. First off it’s way too large to fit me or my daughter and second the clasp broke as I was searching for a way to make it work.

Cool Core cooling towel retails for $14.99. This towel is awesome! You wet it, wring it out, and snap it for cooling effect. Now I know you are supposed to use it for outdoor activities but I used it on a rare humid night to help me cool down without turning the A/C lower. It worked wonderfully and is so light weight that I didn’t notice it around my neck.

Chroma Lights temporary hair color in metallic teal can be found for around $9 and is so much fun. What sets this a hair color apart from similar brands is the smell, Chroma Lights didn’t have the paint smell that the other brands of temporary hair color have had. It’s also slightly more subtle then other colors I’ve tried.

Boombotix wireless speaker retails for $14.50. I’m a huge fan of these speakers and don’t think a family can have too many. What I love about this one is it’s water resistant and super light.

Global Beauty Care makeup cleansing wipes ($1.99) feel like a filler. They are fine for a quick clean up but don’t really make my face feel fresh and clean.

My rough calculation of the is box is $45 value for only $20, which in my opinion isn’t too bad. I’m a little disappointed that not every item is of the same quality. It seems to me that the idea is to pick a few great items and then fill the rest of the box with whatever happens to be lying around.  Over all it’s still kind of a fun box for the price.
