Nerd Block is a monthly mystery geek & gamer subscription box. Every month includes a new shirt and Nerd Block boxes are typically filled with fun toys and figurines and other geek accessories. It really is a box for everyone who enjoys nerdy and pop culture things.
The information card shows the featured item of the month. The theme for this month was SQUAD.
As usual, the other items are on the back of the card.
Everything in the July box!
Bonus Items
I have to point out before I get to the individual items that there are three repeats from recent boxes. I received all these items very recently so they really aren’t exciting – I would rather have a new item to increase the value of the box. However this is a huge win for newer subscribers, and of course veterans like me can pass on the love.
Awkward Family Photos Postcards ($7.71) From the August 2015 Nerd Block Review:
Plus, a compilation postcard booklet of awkward family photos. The Rubik’s cube made it to Brandy’s desk (very few things make it there) so I’d say it was a winner!
I would say that it’s not making it to my desk this month.
Arrested Development Tobias Magnet: From the March 2016 Nerd Block Review (no that is not a typo it was in the box 3 months ago)
Relieve his most memorable moments. I love how his basic outfit is jean cutoffs. The set comes with multiple accessories and outfits: Discipline Daddy, 100% Natural Good-Time Family-Band Solution, Blue Man entire body, “The Man Inside Me” hardcover, frozen banana, and more. If you subscribe to Nerd Block for a teen or child, um, please open the box first yourself.
Titans Alien: The Nostromo Collection Ripley and Big Chap Exclusive Twin Pack ($19.99) From the October 2015 Nerd Block.
I got a variation so I’m not too burned about this one.
Bleacher Creature’s Exclusive Suicide Squad The Joker Plush ($7?) I preferred the Deadpool plush from this company, in part because it’s not heavily tagged, but it’s a fun desk/display item after we get all 3 tags off!
Exclusive Transformers Autobot Pin ($10?) This is a great pin and I guess it would be easy to overdo the modernist design, but they didn’t, it’s really perfect.
Exclusive Harley Quinn Black & White Funko Pocket Pop Keychain ($6.50 for non-exclusive) My daughter is obsessed with HQ (not knowing that she’s a murderous supervillain of course) so this one’s going straight to her. An exclusive paint is always fun to have, and she goes great with the Joker!
Attack on Titan Blind Bag Backpack Hanger ($2.97): Subscribers received either a member of the survey corps or an emblem.
I can’t really tell you more about the Attack on Titan hanger except that it’s a unicorn! HQ is highly detailed even for a tiny Pocket model, and can anyone get enough of the heart beauty mark? NOPE.
Exclusive Ghostbusters T-Shirt ($10) There is only Zuul! I was totally thrilled to have a shirt that was all about the original, and the box arrival was nicely timed with the new Ghostbusters release!

There’s also a $10 coupon included when you purchase from ShirtPunch! After you use your code SAVE YOUR CARD – you have to try to collect all 9 pieces to get a completed puzzle and get a $100 card. I’m betting there will be only a few linchpin puzzle pieces – most of the pieces we have received have identical backs.
Shirt Punch has shirts as low as $10 (shipping $6), so you can get a shirt around $6, which is an awesome deal, but I love the daily bundles they have! I usually hate things I have to spend extra money on, but I’m totally ok with spending $4 for a shirt or about $9 for a shirt + Pop.
I was pretty cranky when I opened this box and saw all the repeats but it was cool they loaded up subscribers with some extras. I wasn’t crazy about getting two visually similar keychains/backpack hangers but the loot was still good. The shirt, pin, and Pop keychain were my favorite items for sure. I’m guessing they’re clearing out old inventory because shirt punch has a Christmas in July promotion going on where they’re giving out freebies and its all stuff I have seen you review before I have been wanting to get some but I have seen a daily deal that I NEED lol
I know! I did pick up the supernatural one the other day. I signed up for the emails and look every day at midnight but nothing as great as that MLP shirt/Funko combo.
Lol yeah I do the same thing I’m waiting for a good ninja turtles bundle, the other day they had one but I wasn’t feeling it and I know they’ll have another must have bundle soon so I’m just waiting
