Nerd Block Jr is a subscription box for boys or girls ages 6-11 (you pick the box – boy or girl) that is a monthly surprise of fun little toys for kids. They’re part of the Nerd Block Family – check any of them out here.
This was so fun to open!
The information card provides a list of all the items included in the box.
There’s also a $10 credit included which you can use on ShirtPUNCH!
Everything in the June 2016 box!
For at least the next 8 months Nerd Block is providing $10 credits to ShirtPunch, which sells anime and fandom shirts plus vinyl toys, collectibles, and other geek goodies! The shirts are as low as $10 (shipping starts at $4), which is an awesome deal.
After you use your code SAVE YOUR CARD – you have to try to collect all 9 pieces to get a completed puzzle and get a $100 card. I’m betting there will be only a few linchpin puzzle pieces (I have 4 now and they all have the same back).
Not quite as exciting as getting an actual shirt, especially for kids, but once you explain that they can pick out their own shirt (as long as you’re ok with shelling out a few extra dollars) I think they’ll be cool with it. Takes about 15 days to arrive.
Disney Zootopia Stickers ($2.24) There are 2 sheets, each has one front and one back just like these. A perfect tie-in to the hot new kids movie Zootopia from Disney!
Hasbro Simon Swipe Card Game ($3.98) I’m not sure what Simon Swipe is (obviously an electronic party game!) but this is a great tabletop game for a multi-age family – we can have the youngest match to the best of their abilities and challenge our daughter.
This is a great item for summer!
Charmazing Style Me Up Bracelet Seaside Collection ($11) It’s Charmazing! What a cute what to get into the Alex + Ani trend – and there’sa whole app that gamifies it.
This looks mildly complicated but my daughter will have this figured out in a jif!
Disney Pixar Finding Dory Keychain ($4.45) Perfect timing to match Finding Dory – we love Disney and can’t wait to see this movie. Kids these days – they LOVE keychains. It’s kind of a thing to chain them all up on your backpack. This is a great item!
Lego Friends Meet the Friends ($3.99)
A full-color quiz book with fun facts and activities based on LEGO(R) Friends–a buildable play world for girls!
Are you a fashionable friend like Emma? Can you keep a secret as well as Stephanie? Find out in this fun quiz book all about the LEGO(R) Friends! Read about the five girls and learn cool facts about their talents and personalities. Then round up a few of your friends and take the quizzes to discover what type of friend you are, your sense of style, which pet would be perfect for you, and more!
This is SUPER girly. My daughter prefers Minecraft LEGOs but is a good example of what might be in this box!
Funko Guardians of the Galaxy Gamora Dorbz ($6.99) What a huge hit with my 7 year old – girl Funko AND a Dorbz?! Hello Win!
And check out that rad ombré!
I was surprised how many items were in this box – it was about a $33 value plus there was the code to Shirtpunch! I would probably prefer more girly geek items instead of half geek half girly, but my daughter seemed pretty pleased with this box!
