Sabatino Tartufi Truffle Zest is from the world’s largest truffle manufacturer. Due to the expensive nature of truffles I have never had the pleasure of trying one of the most costly foods in the world. I’m looking forward to making a large bowl of pasta and trying this zest. Fortunately for me I won’t have to share, my daughter and husband are not fans of fungus.
The English Provender Co. Luxury Lemon Curd. This is the best lemon curd I have ever tasted, it’s rich and velvety smooth. Pretty sure I could eat the entire sample sized jar with a spoon, it’s that delicious. I love that the pamphlet gives uses for the lemon curd and that it’s 100% all natural ingredients.
Guatus Vitae Condiments Taste of Provence Gourmet Seasoning. First I have to say that I love the container, it’s metal with openings for sprinkling seasoning or a larger area to get a bigger serving. I like that it’s Non GMO certified and there are ideas of what kind of meats and veggies this blend will best enhance. I pride myself on having a ridiculously great sense of smell, this blend is heavenly and smells high quality. Currently I’m trying it on my turkey mignon to add another level of awesome and my house smells wonderful.
The English Provender Co Caramelized Red Onion Chutney. I opened the box too last last night to try this chutney on my hamburger (one suggested use) but look forward to adding to sandwiches. I did open it just for a sniff test and it smells a little bit sweet and very much like onions, which would be my favorite cooking partner.
Chef’s Cut Real Chicken Jerky. I never heard of chicken jerky but my mind has been blown by this product. It was a little odd to have a pinkish meat instead of the “normal” red color that beef gives but once I got past that I was pleasantly surprised. It was super soft and the honey barbecue flavor was on point. The added bonus to this product is how high in protein it is without a crazy amount of fat. I will be making this a new snacking option in my home.
Carrie Mae’s Kitchen Chia Seed Crunchy Strips were my least favorite product in this box. They are plain and lack flavor that was abundant in the rest of the box.
Joseph Joseph Compact 3-Bladed Peeler, retails for $12.57. This peeler is awesome! Three different blades for standard peeling, serrated and Julienne all in one compact package. The best thing about this peeler is that it comes apart for easy dishwasher cleaning. I will be giving up my old peeler since using this product.
Mary’s Secret Ingredients box is so much fun and filled with high quality products that I didn’t know existed. The Joseph Joseph line is quickly becoming my new favorite in kitchen gadgets. The time and attention to detail is apparent with every product they include.
