July 2016 Super Geek Box Subscription Box Review & Coupon

Super Geek Box is a monthly geek subscription box that promises a new shirt every month or something 2x Epic.

J is happy because he has his own Dancing Groot. He has been wanting one ever since his older brother received one in a different geek box.

The July Theme is SideKick.

Here are the items in the July Super Geek Box. J is all geeked out over a few items.

Not cool Super Geek Box. The box is geared towards families and a younger audience that can read. Is there not a different verb that could be used? Even my teenager was surprised.

J, age 7, is ecstatic to receive his very own Funko POP! Marvel Guardians of the Galaxy Dancing Groot ($7.14). Both boys think he is the cutest POP! figure ever made. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is coming out May 5, 2017. He is Rocket the Raccoon’s sidekick.

Why does BMO from Adventure Time look sad? Is he missing Finn and Jake?  The Super Geek Box Beer Mo Can Cooler can be used for any drink that wants to look cool.

Enjoy playing Pokemon Go while paying homage to the original version of Pikachu and Ash.  The original Pokemon game was in black and white and played on the GameBoy. The colors are meaningful. Pikachu is yellow, and Ash wears a red hat. J loves it!

Check out Yoshi in his 16-bit gaming finest. You can see him in his first appearance in Yoshi’s Island which had a multitude of Yoshis in various colors. J is happy that he has another legitimate sticker. He is one of the sidekicks in the Super Mario Bros realm.

I may have an iron somewhere in my house. Jake, from Adventure Time, is hiding in a basket. There are directions on how to iron on the Super Geek Box PocketPal T-Shirt Modifier, and how to create a pocket. Jake is a main character and friends with Flynn.

Subscribers can receive one of four colors – green, red, blue, or yellow. J received a fire Yoshi. He eats a power flower in Super Mario 64 DS and starts breathing fire! J thinks he looks funny and is adding the pin to his lanyard.

It’s a combination of R2D2 from the original Star Wars series and BB-from the newest Star Wars series. J is also wearing his pin, buddy tags, and holding Groot. The women’s shirt is a variant this month with red text and a heart!

J felt that the July box was pretty cool. His favorite item is the Dancing Groot POP! figure. T liked that they included the Pokemon tags at the same time Pokemon Go is all the rage. The boys recognized the fandom easily. It’s an excellent family friendly geek box.
