The breakable items were bubblewrapped, tissue-wrapped, and stickered. They all said beauty on them. I only thought at the last minute to snap a pic while I was tearing into all the items!
White Mints ($4) This is actually a pretty inspired idea – to keep some mints next to the bedside table! For when you want your breath to be fresh before bed. This is a bit of an inflated price for bulk mints but i loved the idea!
Free Gift- Lavender Sachet: This was a bonus item, and smelled great. My seven year old was in the room when I unboxed this and she couldn’t get over the idea. She gleefully squirreled it away in a drawer, as suggested!
Aromasoy Tranquil Sleep Candle ($15) This 100% soy wax candle features a 40-50 hour burn time and no additives!
The candle came with complete instructions on how to burn it properly, which was great, because I’m totally guilty of turning it on and letting it go. The scent is calming but I couldn’t tell you the scent components at all.
It’s quite a large candle, and as the information card notes, the light will flicker through the glass to create a pleasing atmosphere in your bedroom!
Tozai Home Droplets Mother of Pearl and Coconut Bowl ($17) This bowl is made out of half a coconut, with inlaid mother of pearl and lacquered all up. It’s such a nice surprise when you reach in!
The bowl itself is handmade in Vietnam and very natural. Although this is the “rustic” box, I love the contrast of natural and glam!
Tozai Home Artisan Studio Patterns Vase ($20) Love the pattern on this vase – it’s fired with a beautiful bluish green glaze which matches most of our decor! Also, it’s tall! I love subscription box items for the home that don’t lay flat.
It had nice rubber protectors on the bottom too!

The styles shown were modern and vintage. I would have chosen one of those over the rustic, but that’s just my personal preference – this was a well put-together subscription. It seemed like a more cohesive (and styled) version of the now-defunct Burke Box – which is hard not to draw comparisons to. I really like the tips included in this box as well as the 3 style choices. They sold out last month which demonstrates a real demand for this kind of subscription. The value I calculated, about $56, is a bit off from the card ($79). While I’m hoping for future pricing to be a bit more realistic, I was happy with the curation and presentation!
