Dia & Co is a monthly personal styling subscription for plus-sized women. It’s pretty much just like Stitch Fix for plus sizes – Fill out your profile and sizing information, pay a $20 styling fee (refundable against anything you choose to keep), and have 5 items selected by a stylist sent straight to your home to try on. Dia & Co includes free shipping each way. If you keep all 5 items from your box, you’ll receive a 20% discount.
The box itself came packaged very neatly, and included a nice quote on the back of my stylist note.
I had a crazy top in my last box, so I think my stylist is responding to the feedback I gave on that!
It included an invoice showing the price of each item plus my potential discount.
In addition to telling the stylists that I am more of a Classic, Casual, and Retro kind of girl, I also let them know that packability is key due to work travel. One of the things I think it interesting is they ask you what you DO NOT want in terms of colors and prints, instead of asking what you DO want. I am curious to see how that plays out over time. It does force me to be more open minded!
What I got:
Eunishop Ellie Tank Top in Black 1X $42
I love a black shirt with some detail, so this is an instant winner. I actually wore it the day after my box came! Always a good sign if I am excited enough about something to wear it right away. I actually have a shopping thing where I leave the tags on, and if i don’t wear something within a few weeks of buying it, I know I am never going to wear it, so I return it. Does anyone else do this? Please tell me I am not crazy.
This shirt is a lightweight knit, and the embroidery on top is pretty stiff and structured. I wish it were a smidge longer, since it is pretty breezy and open, but, really, it is fine and i just need to get used to a shirt that isn’t fitted at the hips.
Fashion to Figure Raine Top Blue 0X $34.90
The shape of this was pretty interesting – the fabric doesn’t have a lot of give, so either it fits, or it doesn’t. I decided the print is too busy for me and I am not likely to wear it, but I do think the fit was pretty good. As a reminder, I am a 14/16 or XL on top from most brands, and I am 5’10”, so this might be a bit more tunic-y on a shorter person. Also note, there is a shoulder-connector ribbon in the backside shot. I always end up cutting those, but if you hang your shirts, they can help with shape. On this one it seems like it needs to be snipped off, since it shows.
Leota Emory Dress Blue 1X $158
Short! Too Short! This dress has a lot of potential for a shorter person – it is a great stretchy packable fabric, wrap dresses are pretty universally flattering, and I like the print. But it is just way too short for me. Personally, I also think $158 is way too much for a relatively casual work dress. I would expect to pay $70-80 for this, maybe $100 if it was really special.
Also, hello Ellie-cat! She just insisted on hanging around while photos were being taken.
Lysse Bootcut Pants Black 1X $66
If you’re the kind of person who wishes you could wear yoga pants to work, these are the pants for you. The material is stretchy but soft and structured. The waist band was nice and wide. I have to laugh though – a few years ago, I couldn’t imagine wearing skinny jeans. I was bootcut girl. Now, putting on bootcut pants (except for jeans – still love those) always feels weird. I wanted these to be skinnies. I also think they are a smidge too short for me. I usually want a 33″ inseam when wearing flats, I suspect these were in the 31-32″ range.
Naked Zebra Long-Sleeved Drawstring Blouse Navy 1X $49.99
Love the color, but not too much else. Though to be fair, it is mostly the fit I don’t like on this one. It was too snug on my shoulders and felt a little too short for how I would probably style it. Note the sleeves have tabs for rolling them up, which is one detail I love. The fabric was an airy crepe, great for the summer months.
I am happy with my new black (but detailed!) top, but I don’t feel too bad sending the other items back. I am already looking forward to next month’s box!

The black top is a super win! I like the long sleeve blue one too.
Thanks – I have worn that top more than once already. It is super breezy!
