Badger Tea Tree & Lemon Balm Herbal Lip Care ($2.99):  The Cocotique Shop had this listed for $4.99.  This stick is certified organic and 100% natural.  Organic extra virgin olive oil and beeswax naturally seal in moisture, while tea tree and lemon balm provide incredible herbal support.  I felt a slight tingle on my lips with this, but that was from the peppermint and menthol.

Creme of Nature Perfect Edges Extra Hold ($5.49): This product has been popular in boxes for WOC this year.  Another reviewer and I have received this through other subscriptions.  Click here to see our reviews.  I like this product, but it will get gifted.  Since so little is needed to tame hair, I’ve barely made a dent in the container I already have.

Naked Beaute Moisturizing Shaving Soap ($2.50):  A natural shaving soap enriched with argan oil, this provides a conditioning lather to provide the needed slip for a close shave.  Cocotique has featured several products from this brand in past boxes, and I think I’ll have the opportunity to try most of their items by the end of the year.  I really enjoyed shaving with this.  My razor glided over my skin, and my legs felt super soft after my shower.  This does not create a thick lather.  It is more like the gel/serum you get from the moisturizing strip on a fresh razor.

Elaine Hair & Body Mango Papaya Butter ($3.00):  This was the bonus item in my box, and I received it (plus some of the other bonus options) from Cocotique back in December.  I gifted this to my dad who swore it helped heal his dry feet.  Other subscribers may have received one of the following instead of the butter:  Beautiful Nutrition – Cocoa Curl Rejuvenating Curl Oil & Moisture Serum Duo, Everyday Botanicals Grapefruit Mango Shower Gel, or SheaMoisture Superfruit Complex Bubble Bath & Body Wash/Massage Oil Duo.  I would have preferred the Everyday Botanicals shower gel or SheaMoisture duo (which I have yet to try).

Naughty Cosmetics Orgazmic Mascara ($20.00):  Black Mascara Color So Intense It’s Orgazmic!   Check out the size of that brush.  This mascara claims to provide volume while conditioning, strengthening, and thickening your lashes.  I can’t wait to try this out.

Ultra Sheen Supreme #SLAYED Styling Lotion ($2.99): This styling lotion contains a fusion of jojoba, castor and cocoa oils, aloe vera, mango and shea butter; all of which aid in reducing breakage, smoothing cuticles and soothing frizz.  This is new to me, and I can’t wait to test it when I straighten my hair.  Now, if only I can work up the motivation to break out my flat iron and lose an hour.

Beauty & Pin Ups Luxe Leave-in Spray On Revitalizing Conditioner ($14.00):  Yes, this 2oz. sample retails for $14!  The conditioner touts that it “revitalizes, regenerates and nourishes while giving UV the boot. Helps prevent breakage, protect color and stop oxidation by neutralizing chlorine and trace minerals.”   The formula is free of parabens and phthalates and contains coconut oil and chufa milk (an antioxidant and UV protectant).  This left my hair feeling soft and the scent was nice.

This month’s box is valued at $51.  The mascara alone covered the cost of the box, but the shave bar is my new favorite item.  Despite the two repeat items, I really enjoyed the products I received.  I feel that Cocotique‘s curations have greatly improved.  I now get excited when this box arrives.   What did you like from the Summer Essentials?  Leave a comment below to let me know your thoughts.
