Tasting Beer: An Insider’s Guide to the World’s Greatest Drink by Randy Mosher ($11.74):  I was really impressed with the comprehensiveness of this book.  I’m actually surprised that it is available for such a low price, as it covers more styles of beer and has a more thorough presentation than nearly any other beer reference.

The book describes just about every style of beer imaginable, including both hard data on the composition of each brew (e.g. gravity and IBUs) and a narrative description and history of the style.  There is tons of other stuff too — a general history of beer and guides on tasting and food pairings.

W&P Design Glasses & Pine Wood Beer Flight Plank Set.  The box comes with two sets of paddles and glasses — perfect for sampling with a friend.

The paddles are nice and sturdy.  The glasses are hand-wash only.

Bespoke Post remains one of my favorite guy-friendly subscriptions — there are so many different themes to choose from, and I always get really excited about using everything right off the bat.  The quality of the items, whether it be a hobby kit, apparel, or food related, always make me feel like I am investing in my quality of life rather than justing getting something to set it aside.
