White Willow Box June 2016 Subscription Box Review

White Willow Box is a Canadian subscription box featuring lifestyle items that are thoughtfully curated and selected. Boxes ship in the beginning of the month from Vancouver.

It folds out to reveal the contents, details, and suggested retail prices. I’ve used the retail prices online (and converted to Canadian as well) for this review.

Peach Cream Chiffon Towel ($12 uSD/$15 CAD) Okay, so at first I thought this was actual cake, even though that would be a bit silly. But look! It’s a cake slice! And it unfolds like so:

The website is addicting — they have cupcakes, other cakes, gelato cones, all made of towels! So cute!

ToGoSpa Ice Water Eyes ($12.50 USD/$16 CAD) I’ve always wanted to try these after reading reviews of their monthly subscription. They recommend popping these into the fridge for an extra cooling effect.

Define Fruit Infusion Bottle ($20.99 USD/$27 CAD) I received a small version of this in my first Whimsy Mail box and I love it — this larger version is 16oz so twice the size! I’ve been making blueberry lemon water lately and it’ll be great having it on the go.

Foxy’s Gourmet ($9 CAD) Foxy’s is a Canadian food line that reminds me a lot of Epicure. This salsa mix looks great — just add chopped tomatoes and tomato paste! They also sent out guac mix and pesto mix, which also sound great.

Bonus: Maple syrup in honour of Canada’s team competing in the World Culinary Olympics in Germany right now!

WWB continues to impress me with the curation. While there wasn’t as cohesive of a theme this month (maybe a food/water theme?) everything was high-value and appropriate. I love the larger fruit infusion bottle and am super excited to try the eye masks!
